I thought Mellon said that he didn't want to roll over for Solihull?

Yep, cos he'd been in that position before himself.

Glad I checked the teams before putting Tranmere on an ACCA.

And Torquay equalise. That's much more like it, come on lads I've already predicted we won't win another game this season, don't balls it up now

This is tragic.

Solihull are horrific but playing a bunch of 19 year olds that are all wingers.

And now 1-2.

About 700 is the estimate tonight to see us continuing to find new lows. 700 more than the owner deserves.

Excellent work so far Gateshead and Barrow. Please keep it up for the next 45 minutes, thanks.

Don’t think Solihull players or fans have clicked into the fact they’re playing our 3rd/4th team.

Very valuable point. However the task on Saturday remains the same. I think it'll be a far from comfortable afternoon as it isn't the Barrow way to storm off in to the distance with an expected three points.

Thankfully Dover still have a sniff.

David Rock screws Bromley over again. Barrow turned up to a WWE event, not a football match, and he gave absolutely nothing. Penalty not given first half, two footed challenge on Mekki not even a foul. It nearly kicked off in the crowd behind the goal near the end. Unbelievable.

Well tonights results guarantee us a play off spot (thanks Barrow).
A point at Sutton on Saturday would give us a home tie in the quarters, a win would put us straight through to the semis.

Looks like the wheels are well and truly off at Tranmere.

We’re ruined. We’ll only thrash Ebbsfleet by 3 instead of 4.

How that ended goalless I’ll never know!!
Barrow set them selves up well from the start, never really threatened though.
We moved up a gear second half and created a couple chances, nothing went our way all night. Dennis cut back was a yard too far ahead of Hanlon, balll in the box falls to a centre back who only needs to hit the target but Johnson dragged it wide.
Barrow had a couple of chances on the break to nick it late on and it kind of had that feel that they would for a while.

Ref was absolutely awful, how he hasn’t given a pen is ridiculous. Aside from that we had enough to win that and shouldn’t have needed to rely on decisions.
Credit to Barrow fans, decent lot of them making some noise.

I have been extremely poorly this season so I am totally out of sync with most things but what has happened at Torquay?

I'm not sure what's more shit, that team we had out or this new site. Loading slower than dial up internet days, and that's with the stupid chat thing off.

A very typical Tuesday night home game for us this season, poor performance, low energy levels after an excellent win Saturday and we concede from a set play after 5 mins due to Dean Brills error, which is then followed by 85mins of Maidenhead parking the bus and defending very well, with us badly failing to trouble them and looking very lacklustre.

However, a very special mention to this evenings referee, who failed to book a Maidenhead player for deliberately stopping a counter attack, failing to give us the most blatent back pass of the season, failing to send Charlie Lee off for us (possibly) after a late high challenge.

BUT, his biggest error and one of worst decisions I have seen at a live football game was in the last minute when Maidenheads Upward virtually headed butted him after disagreeing with a decision he made in the last minute to give us a free kick, its clearly a red card for a headbutt........the ref goes into his pocket.....pulls out a yellow card and points towards the dressing rooms - He has sent him off - But has shown the wrong colour card and not realised :fl:...........Upward walks away to stand in the wall for the free kick, the ref asks him to leave the pitch, chaos breaks loose.........finally he realises he has shown the wrong colour card and brandishes the red and our crowd start laughing. Dear God

Who was the referee? Just so I can keep an eye out for when he visits us next season.

I once had a week long fling in the Holiday Inn in Woking so fond memories of the place, but I hope to god Barra stay up. This league may as well be the Southern Premier, the amount of sodding cockney and mockney sides in it

Just had a look: Adam Penwell.

I will not forget that tonight, certainly one ref I will be looking out for next season.

Jack Dunn is an odd one, only 3 years ago he was tipped to make the Liverpool first team, now bigger than McNulty and close to dropping out of football.

Crikey Tranmere. I hope the team aren't as jittery as the fans posting on here, otherwise you can play us again next season with your fulll team to demonstrate your superiority.
We are not gloating at beating the 'mighty' Tranmere (with all the brotherhood rosettes and all) Just delighted that our young, small and growing club has performed a great feat over the last five months. Good luck in the play offs, . You deserve promotion. But we are just happy with what we have achieved.
