We're gunna be drinking in Piccadilly up until around 1pm before coming to Stockport.

Looking forward to it, last season was a bang on game. Hopefully we have the same again and we go home happy.

Good luck in the play-offs.

I haven't got a clue where we'll end up :dk:

Rumour's flying around at Nuneaton Town player's haven't been paid for a few weeks? Not sure whether that's true or not, bit suspicious with the floodlight's being checked & the game gets called off. Seems a bit of a coincidence but then again could be nothing.

Apparently they havent been paying their bills and the electric has been cut.
Little bit surprised we have said yes to hosting the game at such short notice..cant they have switched it to York St instead?

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
It would be very unfair to play it at Boston because with that Spenny result last night they amazingly have a massive chance of nicking a play-off spot, it could leave the league open to legal challenges if they took 7th and won the play-offs off back of away games moved at home........mind playing it at neutral ground has given them a boost.

Not that surprised if nuneton have problems, full time with their set-up for last few years doing absolutely nothing.

it is not even like they have mass problems like say Workington or someone attracting players, they are in a brilliant hotbed for players with Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, all on the door step and even your london and manchester areas within distance.

although i do at times feel sorry for Gainsborough and Tamworth if they have gone down running to budget while Nuneaton have been financially b*ggered for months and just kept it quiet on the sly until the relegation battle was over.

Doesnt surprise me for one second with Nuneaton. Horrible club. There is always the AGM Cup though. Hope Gainsbrough beat Tamworth so they are in pole position to take advantage.

Not a good time of the season to save our worst form of the season for.

We're looking very ordinary....

Yes, play offs confirmed at last, can relax a bit now and maybe give a few players a break on Saturday, never know Spennymoor may overtake us so we can go to Kiddie again, haha, come on Chorley!

154 Hardy souls at the Impact as Nuneaton and Boston play out a 1-1 draw.

Chorley`s win tonight means they now seal their play off spot. Hope they rest a few players on Saturday now and give us an opportunity to finish the season with 3 straight wins. Be nice to finish on a high after a really tough hard slog of a season. We can look forward to the new campaign with an open mind.

If you somehow manage to throw a 20 goal difference lead to go below Spennymoor I'd be very impressed.

I can honestly say I don't know where our performance tonight came from, it was like the last 7 games hadn't happened. I went expecting a dull end-of-season affair from two sides with nothing to play for, and got entertainment instead! It might not have been pretty, but it was two sides prepared to put a shift in even though it didn't really matter. It's typical that we finally put in a decent performance in front of no more than 20-odd travelling fans too.

Awful performance from us, I walked out when the 4th goal hit the back of the net. Well deserved win in the end from you guys.

I didnt think you were that bad. Sloppy at the back maybe, but you still had your fair share of possession and chances. I've seen far worse performances this season, usually from us!

I've seen many a bad performances home and away this season, but tonight's was one of the worst I've witnessed. Apart from the first 15-20 minutes or so where we looked pretty comfortable taking the lead through a brilliant effort from Josh Gillies, things were looking good?

Instead of moving forward and getting stuck into Southport. We somehow for some strange reason went back over with some shocking defending, a rare Josh Heaton mistake cost us big style. That gave Southport the upper hand and gradually took control of the game.

Southport played very well and grabbed hold of the game by the scruff of the neck, and were gradually just increasing their goal advantage by adding further goals and possibly could have had more, overall can't complain best team won on the night.

Too many of our player's just weren't at the races tonight, probably a game we wanna forget. I thought the pitch had a terrible bobble that made it tricky for the player's to control the ball.

Bit disappointed with it being the last home game of the season, need some fine tuning with our squad during the summer with one or two more additions and obviously move one or two out of the club?

We were ok up until the first say 20 minutes or thereabouts, after that we were clueless. We are normally solid as a rock at the back with one of the best centre backs in the league in Josh Heaton. Would have been criminal if we got a result out of that game tonight. Best team won simple as that.

Good to see Jordan Richards I liked him when he played in a couple of summer friendlies for us, I thought he was decent. Also Adam Dawson was on the bench i seen him play for us in a couple of matches, didn't really get the chance to show what he can do for us i thought.

Heard they did ask Tamworth and they said no, they probably didn't wanna hire the 4g pitch to Nuneaton under the current circumstances without payment upfront? I must admit I'd be a bit wary with ongoing situation at the club.
