If a dedicated, in house, streaming app, would generate as much money for them as they get through Sky, the PL would have done it long ago.

It may do one day, but there are a lot more issues with it than you realise. We are a lot further off than you’d think.

Anyway, what you’re talking about is effectively what NOW TV are starting to do, it just costs a lot if you want to subscribe to them constantly.

Much more likely that someone like DAZN comes along and does well enough to snap up some PL rights, but they won’t ever have enough money to get the majority.
Stop talking down to me like I'm a child when I prob know more about this than you. It's still a while off, for example DAZN can't even provide it's customers with a stable service yet but ultimately the PL will make the jump.

NOWTV was only ever live testing for SkyQ, fact. And nah Nowtv would not be the same as the PL having their own app/sub service.

Dude, I work for Sky and NOW TV, among other things on Sports rights. I definitely know more about this than you.

Dude, you ain't the only one whose had an Osterley pass. Been there, done that and can still have your misplaced arrogance laughed at by the real players if needs must.

Absolutely desperate for a striker though, any idea what this kid from Boro is like?
Yeah, can’t see anyone buying Hogan unless it’s a PL team, no one else can afford him.

1 in 5 isn’t so bad given most of his appearances are as a sub right? You also don’t really play the way you’d need to to get the best out of a striker with his skill set.
Thats why I'm not to harsh on the lad. We don't play to his strength at all.

It would be for him were I to ask those that actually acquisition if they're aware of a Brentford/Newcastle supporting kid who claims to do their job.

I mean - one clue that I’m not lying is the fact I support Brentford, clearly local to the area.

Callum Woods did his hamstring last night, honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him retire early in the near future.

Hoping we bring in a back-up right back on loan now, Tom Clarke can do a job there but it's not ideal.

Time to drop our friends at Man City a message.

Someone pictured in our director's area last night, thought the be Taylor Richards from City.

Right winger/ central midfielder. Could be a case of just being mates with Nemcha though.

Can’t see that it’s been mentioned but Bolton announcing Le Fondre leaving at half time in yesterday’s game is pretty hilarious.

Can’t get in the team, one of our highest earners. He can go off and find first team football and the club can reinvest accordingly. He moves on, so do the club.

Nick Blackman has pretty much left the club, gone on loan to Sporting Gijon for the year and is out of contract in June.

Such a waste of time for all involved (Bar Reading who made decent wonga). Shame as he's a decent lad and is actually an alright player, just never got a proper break here. The managerial merry go round and injury have screwed him. 90% of the fanbase are buzzing tbh though.

Yeah tbf he’s not really a Parkinson player, he’s actually got technical ability and he’s about a foot too small.

We have signed Angel Rangel on a free. He is 35 now so no idea if he will be good. We needed cover at right back and it is only a short term deal, so nothing to lose really.

Love the geezer but times are grim for you if that's the extent of investment from the owners. He's an honest pro but he's old now - if you're a defensive team he's solid in the basics but if you play expansive he'll get exposed as fuck at this stage. Sounds like he'll be back here in a coaching capacity once he retires which is good.

I think part of the reason of us getting him is for him to mentor Kakay and Furlong, plus Furlong is out for 3 months and he was the 1st choice right back. Kakay is just a bit shit.

We are signing Ben Thompson on loan from Millwall. I know nothing about him Millwall fans. What type of midfielder is he? Cheers

Strange one... Arsenal's Mavididi who strugged to get into the Preston team has blagged a move to Juventus.

He'll be playing in Serie C to be fair.

Has the ingredients to have a good career but could go either way, nowhere near ready as it stands. If Josh King can carve out a good career then so can Mavididi, both pretty useless at this level as teenagers.

Millwall fans..

Ben Thompson? Any good?
Great engine on him. Has suffered from lack of match time since we were promoted: delighted he’s going to get minutes at a good league one club because there’s a real game player in there.

Transfer embargo now lifted at Hillsborough, Bakary Sako rumoured to be already lined up. Believe he's a free agent after being released by Palace.
If true he'd bring some much needed pace to squad.

Love to know what's changed for it to be lifted , surely it must have been wrongly instated in the first place. As for the signing, not sure signing a man on a free transfer who hasn't been snapped up for the last 3 months by anyone is the greatest move.

Great news, been a good few days for us. Sako would be a class signing IF he's fit, would add some much needed athleticism and power to the team.
