Ajose was terrible for us. He just never seemed to be apart of our squad. Will certainly score against us though.

I would even say he cost us promotion as he missed a penalty at Port Vale when the score was 0-0. We would easily have won that game if that penalty had been scored.

I see Carolyn has attracted another load of opprobrium with another signing imminent announcement. Fair play though, it seems the Radfords are going to stick at it until they get Mansfield up. Maynard must be on what, 3 or 4K a week?

Our local media are reporting that Nantwich striker Joe Malkin who has been watched by a few league 1 clubs I believe. Scunthorpe are now rumoured to be very interested in him. He sounds abit of a talent.

I can think of a lot of clubs who wish they had them as their owners ,probably our two closest rivals yourselves and chesterfield are proof of that

(based only on my experience of him at Swindon)

Ajose is an excellent signing at Exeter and will definitely be in the top 5/10 scorers come the end of the season.

I definitely think Exeter will be there or thereabouts around the play off picture again.

It's 6k a week, been confirmed. Crazy money for this level.

I’m at the stage where I’d be happy if we signed any striker (apart from Richie Bennett). I’d take Ajose, I’d take Oliver, I’d take anyone you can name, good or shit.

I’m even willing us to sign this trialist striker from the 9th tier of football despite having never seen even a clip of his play.

We’re absolutely desperate.

Don't you say this kind of thing every pre-season, hoodwinking us all into thinking you're going down with a record low points tally only to have another solid season at this level?

Did they pay a fee?

If not, £6k per week is circa £300k per year. We paid more than that for Eoin Doyle last season in a fee, and still paid him £5k per week.

Confirmed by who?
A reliable source who may or may not work as a football correspondent for the local newspaper of a L1 club in the North West but has connections all over due to being a native from a more eastern based city.

Haven't heard anything about a fee at this end, but word is that his goal bonus is very lucrative.

6k a week for Nicky Maynard. Are we in some sort of time lapse and have gone back to 2013. Ridiculous money

It's actually 12k and we've gave him a house and car. He's now the highest paid player on Premier manager 98.

How many players to Carlisle currently have on their books?!

Our squad as things stand.

Goalkeepers:
Adam Collin
Louis Gray

Defenders:
Christie Elliott
Jack Iredale
Byron Webster
Jon Mellish

Midfielders:
Mike Jones
Kelvin Etuhu
Jack Bridge
Stefan Scougall

Wingers:
Hallam Hope (will likely be leaving)
Harry Mckirdy

Strikers:
:tw:

Plus 3 or 4 first years out of the youth team.

I’m sure we’ll sign a few more probably on loan, but they’ll have to be really fucking good to save that squad from going down.

I can see you signing someone like Billy Clarke....and of course, if you’re really desperate, I’m fairly sure we could loan you someone like Omari Patrick?

Well I voted for him to win. So all opinions I guess. He was probably 7-8/10 pretty much every week.
In same class as my son at Bradwell so we always watch him more closely when we play you
Fair unit and good engine

I would even say he cost us promotion as he missed a penalty at Port Vale when the score was 0-0. We would easily have won that game if that penalty had been scored.
The reverse of that was the penalty miss galvanised us and that win was the catalyst for our good run which kept us up.
Had you taken the lead given we were about 13 without a win it was a guaranteed win for Mansfield.

So thanks Nicky

We’d be in dream land if we made that kind of signing.

O'Connell to Rochdale, good luck lad. At lest you might get paid.

We'd started really fast, Wozza intercepted their pass from the kick off and could of scored inside 10 seconds, it would of knocked us big time to concede there, small margins... Another huge moment for us from Scotty Brown!

Actually scrap that, somebody ITK has informed me it’s £1.2k p/w with a £650 bonus upon 10 appearances and £1k bonus if he gets in team of the year.
