Get in there Atkinson! Nice for it to be us to get the stoppage time goal for a change.

Boring 0-0, says it all when we go to a side one point above us and put 10 men behind ball and hope not to concede

Tidy away win though a bit odd, score about right on balance of play but Morecambe having sat back probably had more clear cut chances on the break or pushing on late, whereas we dominated bit toothlessly then go ahead with a weird one that seemed to bobble through a crowd then cap in very late with a nice finish but Morecambe man down after Allessandra second card. Do me fine!

Excellent win that, pleased we finally got the monkey off our back in getting that first away win. Really pleased with that from every member of the team.

Squeezed out a win at last. Performance slightly better. St. Evenage are a dreadful bunch of shithousers.

Good win, even against a weakened Bradford and the penalty is now irrelevant.

Weakened Bradford maybe but we’ve missed our two key midfielders! Played a winger at left back. Superb!

About time we had a late away winner after the heartbreak in recent weeks (and we always seem to concede late at Valley Parade!)

Karma for the time the Orient bloke assaulted one of our ballboys.

Onto Saturday we go!

Pub and fry up with the rugby for breakfast, quick jaunt to Exeter for the derby. Should be a good day. Will try not let the football spoil it!

Vital we back this result up with a win at home to Oldham now. Going to be a challenge as Worrall is suspended for that one and a lot of the good things we do come through him.

Is he? Bit of a blow.

Tonight we did what we did end of last season and up until the Mansfield game this season, press them to death, first half we were excellent, second we had to dig in and unusually took a chance when it came!

Referee was abysmal! Free kick for Taylor’s high boot nearly cost us but failed to give one for Bennett getting kicked in the head 2 minutes before! The penalty! Even the failure to stop for a head injury in the box, then strangely finds 5 minutes plus another 5!

That’s the Vale I want to see though not the lethargic one of the last three or four weeks but the one that will press press press and force errors. Works for us against the top teams, did it to Crewe (who were flying), Mansfield etc last season perfectly and hopefully this result will boost the confidence to get back on track.

It would seem we’ve got a gem in George Cooper. We’ve got the option to buy in Jan too. Make it permanent Lowey.

Wow, massive smash and grab in the end after dominating the second half, love the fact the pens getting pulled apart (ignoring the arm in his back) but the foul not given 20 seconds before the first goal hasn’t had a mention.
Still, can’t give the ball away like that in the last minute not once but twice, appalling, that after missing chance after chance whilst Bowyer stands there with his hands in his pockets and can’t make a single sub until we’re behind at the end. It’s bad enough we’ve got so many out but he also chooses to bench our best CD and right back and doesn’t give McCartan even a sniff.
Need to move on quickly, those injuries crippled us tonight and the grinding out of games finally caught up with us.

Really good win for us tonight. We've really picked up our home form lately, just need to try and finally win away from home

Well it means more to you than us... as we know. We’ve got bigger fish to laugh at the opposite way down the A500.
Once again, you’ve missed the point. Don’t know why you’re bringing up a rivalry with a team you haven’t played in 20 years.

Because your trying to make your hatred of the Vale a 2 way one when barely a single Vale fan gives a toss. Our interest is Sjoke (only need to see the hatred in the paint pot last year), so suggesting a comment had an underlying dig at Crewe when it’s nothing do with Crewe is pretty funny.

We’ve helped keep you top tonight, enjoy.
