He was great for us In league 2. Played as a holding midfielder and was very consistent, 7 or 8 out of 10 every week. He then got a bad injury a few weeks from the end of the season. He returned this season and didn’t look the same player. It didn’t help that fergy played him on the right hand...

It’s been reported that we’re about to sign Ali Crawford from Hamilton. Don’t know much about him but the Scottish press have reported that he’s a decent creative midfielder who would be a top signing for most Scot prem sides.. (granted that doesn’t mean a great deal )

Must admit McCann isn’t getting me that excited. I do wonder if we ended up with a final 3 of McCann, McCall and caudwell, how bad were the other 150 odd candidates. When you read what the local press wrote about him after he got sacked, he sounds like fergy mark 2.

Hasslebank still joint favourite along side McCall so it could be him that’s the third candidate... unless it’s someone outstanding Idd rather we just give it to McCall so we can get cracked on with signing some players and preparing for next season

Confirmed as being down to Stuart McCall, Gary caudwell and an unknown 3rd candidate. Apparently caudwell has impressed in his interview but it would be a disaster if we appointed him. Just give McCall the job so we can get cracked on with planning for next season

The free press now saying a new candidate is to be interviewed along with the two having a second one.

The rumours are it’s between McCall and Grant McCann with both set to be interviewed again on Monday.... don’t understand why were waiting a week to interview them again.

The football under fergy last season was awful to watch. He seems to have something against playing with any width or playing players in their actuly proper positions. We have moved forward off the pitch under him but on it we are in the same position as when he joined 3 years ago. The one...

McCall confirmed as being 1 of the 6 that has been or will be interviewed. Warburton and Hopkins not on the list.

Can’t say I’m disappointed he’s gone. The football we played last season was awful. He already has a decent budget and the reports are it’s been increased for this season but he’s still moaning it’s not enough so has walked before being pushed out... Idd like McCall or heckinbottom... over 50...

Played well today and should have been more than 3 if May didn't panic every time he got in front of goal. Rowe and copps ran the show. Hopefully make it 3 on the spin vs Rochdale Friday night

Very good performance from Donny today. Best performance we've put in all season. Hopefully this is the start of a consistent run of form for us, but knowing us under fergy I wouldn't bet much money on it.

I think we have won 5 out of our last 8 but were not playing that well. Now baudry is back fit, fergy seems to have finally picked a formation he is going to stick to, and at least we look more organised... hoping Joe Wright is fit for saturday as Alcock is terrible, and shouldn't be anywhere...
