    Managerial Merry-Go-Round 2018/19

The only similarity is that they've both never managed a first team squad before. When we hired Micciche it was the last week of the January window and we were in the relegation zone. He had no time to assess the squad/bring in suitable players. Martin already knows the squad and is fully...

    Managerial Merry-Go-Round 2018/19

In the circumstances, I think Russell Martin could be a shrewd choice. We'll obviously have paid off Tisdale, Butterfield and Oakley which won't have been cheap and hopefully we'll have something left for January. Appointing Martin is the cheap(er) option. He knows the squad, he's integrated...

    2020/21 General Match Thread

Nah, overdue if anything. Bizarre tactics, played CBs up front when we had strikers available on the bench, sometimes played without any strikers. Weird substitutions (e.g. brought on 2 CBs today when we were down to 10 men and 1-1 against a relegation rival at home). Not just this season, but...

    2020/21 General Match Thread

When I saw the posts from Exeter fans on your forum and elsewhere I just wrote it off as typical bitterness whenever a manager leaves for another club without being sacked, but everything Exeter fans said has proven to be 100% accurate. Let's see where we are this time tomorrow. A loss tomorrow...

    2020/21 General Match Thread

You should be wanting him to stay and take us back down, not mocking the situation. If we lose at home to Tranmere on Saturday he'll probably be gone and a new manager will almost certainly improve things (just like it has with AFC moving on from Wally), it can't get much worse.

    2020/21 General Match Thread

We are a right state at the moment. Not a single shot on target. Fleetwood had something like 75% possession and we set up from minute one parking the bus. Honestly Tisdale has to go. He is tactically inept, L1 is a step too far for him and shows why he's spent the majority of his career in L2...

Your club's top 5 rivalries (according to a recent survey)

You have an American Football team in your bio on a UK football forum, that's all we need to know.

You're going to have to explain that one....if anything I've posted is considered 'WUM' material then you're easily wound up.

    Carabao Cup

Quality draw for us with Liverpool at home. The boost we needed to bring in a quality player or two before the end of the window hopefully.

Mate we've got no professional teams in the area and we still struggle to attract young supporters lol!

The Bury summer signing uberthread. WARNING - Contains tinpot material

Very sad for the fans, the community around it and the staff. But ultimately on balance, the right decision. History will rightly ultimately judge Steve Dale and his predecessors as the villains, whilst for the EFL this will hopefully be a milestone in terms of improving the organisation and...

The Bury summer signing uberthread. WARNING - Contains tinpot material

Don't care if I get shot down for this (I'm an MK Dons supporter so what do I know anyway right?) but if the EFL extend Bury's deadline further it's beyond ridiculous. Just stop dragging it out and kick them out of the league. I know it's not the fault of Bury's supporters, but they need...

    Carabao Cup

Trust me we're looking forward to it about as much as you are. You might actually beat us, our results so far have been very flattering - a lucky deflected winning injury time goal at home to Shrewsbury, beaten 3-2 away to Wycombe, somehow managed to hang on to a 2-1 lead over a dominant Lincoln...

Enough to know I wouldn't want to be one of Swindon.

Your club's top 5 rivalries (according to a recent survey)

I can honestly say I'd rather be a plastic franchise customer with 15 years of history than a Swindon fan in any capacity.

Your club's top 5 rivalries (according to a recent survey)

I think those that pointed out it could be 'most hated' rather than 'biggest rival' might have a point. Either way ours is pretty accurate: 1. AFC Wimbledon 2. Northampton 3. Peterborough 4. Luton 5. Wycombe - although I'd swap Posh and Luton around, and maybe swap Wycombe for Swindon.

    Bolton

Both Bolton and Bury have their 'final' deadlines tomorrow. Given how drawn out this has been for both clubs and the amount of work they and the EFL have been involved in with deadlines, extensions, statements etc it's looking increasingly likely they will make an example of one of them to try...

Yeah this guy has the Prem and the rest of the EFL (just scroll up): FYI Everton didn't list Tranmere, theirs were Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle.
