All time.

Send in a list, same rules as the top 50 animated shows. Figure this would be better.

Not the best players - your favourites.

Lib, I admire your efforts at trying to get people interested in something else than the Premiership and its lower leagues but it's a bottomless pit. Believe me, I've tried. There was a whole army of us trying to get people interested in the major European leagues (Scipio, Oli, Allouso pretending to be a Bayern fan, Satch the weak) and we had a good thing going. We made up a game called Euro Mania (where you pick goalscorers and put them in a list of 8, if the player in top position scores you get 8 points etc, etc), we created a European prediction league, we had experts from all around the globe coming to look at our insightful comments (even Craig got interested in Napoli!) but it died down.
Now if a whole army of us can't get these sad fuckers interested in leagues that are actually interesting, you're not going to achieve much when you're talking about a continent nobody gives a shit about (even me and I'm a curious guy). You were unlucky with the Copa America this year as it happened to be at the same time as the Euros but I'm afraid that's as far you're going to get.

Thanks for reading.

1. Pele
2. Messi
3. Maradona
4. Roberto Rivelino
5. Mario Kempes
6. Osvaldo Ardiles
7. Luque

That's the first 7 who came instantly to my mind (and with Pele and Roberto Rivelinho showing my age ;) ) for additional players I have to think about hard ;).

I saw Pele only on TV in the WC 1970 when I was a 7 year old Boy. But he impressed me so much like no one from South America has done afterwards (not even Messi or Maradona). Of course he was already a legend when I saw him back then and that must have influenced my opinion. But for me, he was the greatest ever.

Roberto Rivelino was also one of the famous ones in 1970. But him I saw even live when he was with Brazil at the World Cup 1974 in Germany. Although the whole Brazilian team was weak his free kicks impressed me and his moustache :D

I'll take all the lists placed on here into account, but try to send me PM's instead. Makes the shock of seeing a certain player all the more fun.

Hope you get enough lists but when I read the last 2 posts above yours ( quoting a post from 5 months ago which has nothing to do with your thread and the "hahaha" response I am in doubt).
Anyway, get on with it. Don't let them spoil the fun for you.

Where would you like me to reply to that post? Perhaps I should post it in a random place and hope that mistermagic stumbles across it in another 5 months?

Tbh Lib, who is liable to send one in now? Can't think of anyone.

And why do you absolutely need 12 lists?
