Fucks sake. We can’t even go out of the cup properly. I don’t want to go to Gillingham! You can’t make me! *stamps foot*
There are more than a few round here would love that fixture. Expect more than a little pisstaking about being in the same league as the mighty Stones!

Can see why you’d be excited, but for us it’s an utterly shit away end, tosspot fans, no decent pubs and we’ve spent most of our history on a level footing or above them. There is nothing good about a trip to Gillingham if you’re an Orient fan, usually including the result.

On the plus side, Shaun Batt did once score a hat-trick against them, so maybe the giant killing is on.:msi:

If you have time, you're better jumping off the train at Rochester for pubs. Parts of Medway have really gone downhill in recent years.

Rochester has been the only good part of Medway for a long time now.

Can't wait to piss all over the might of Doncaster.

Probably not, but you never know. Play to our strengths and I fancy us to nick something.

Parts of? The whole area seems to be turning itself into a mirror image of Dartford and the rest of the estuary shitholes.

I thought it was soft too but I was at the other end so not the best view of it. Ossett had a peach of a chance at the end too - It must have been harder to head it wide!
Roll on Saturday, if we can't beat that Solihull team we deserve to go down.

The lad defied the laws of physics to do that, I'm sure he ducked backwards away from the ball so that he barely touched it. If it had just hit him in the face it would probably have gone in! I felt a bit of Town in the end, they had a decent penalty shout for handball late on too. Still, they'll have earned a few quid from their cup run and that attendance last night. Their number 3 looked a cracking player too, probably better than anything Solihull had on show.

Yep 3 was excellent, handball would have been harsh but no more so than the one the ref gifted Solihull.

Since when was going to E10, the holy grail of all away days? Your pubs are much worse, with one notable exception

There are five good pubs within 15 minutes walk of Brisbane Road, plus the Supporters Club which is the best place to drink ale in the entirety of London bar absolutely nowhere. There are probably only four or five better drinking trips in the whole of the pyramid. We just make the twattier away fans go to the Coach & Horses because it’s funny.

(Plus we don’t make away fans sit on uncovered scaffolding, which some would consider a bonus).

Orient away is decent, easy to get to, nice bar in the away end. What's not to like?

Hmm, reminds me of when we beat Huddersfield one Boxing Day, in the snow. The trackside fencing gave way when the crowd surged as Huddersfield put one over the crossbar and a mass of their fans kind of "exploded" onto the speedway track- it looked like a huge firework going off. We all knew it was due to the shambolic state the ground was in, but the chairman insisted The Huddersfield fans had vandalised our stadium. One Huddersfield fan wasn't having any of it and wrote to the local paper and accused us of having "a shed, masquerading as a stand". I think he was just pissed coz they lost. :fl:

Ah yes, the Coach and Horses, the Orient version of that hole at Charlton (the Antiwhatsisname)

Chorley, Hyde and Shaw Lane the TV picks. No real surprises there.

Are they still moving some games to Sunday like they've done before?

Billericay v Leatherhead is one also. Good grief.
My sister's BF is from Leatherhead and said there is quite a bit of tension between the 2 sides as Billericay are viewed as trying to buy the league but yes agreed its hardly going to attract a nationwide audience.

Cameras at ours now too. Sunday 2pm kick off. Thankfully it's not a live game, just live updates and highlights for their final score show.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
In fairness to their choice of the leather head game, they did give Westfield a vs curzon big coverage last season.

Probably stems from Jimmy Bullard's Leatherhead beating them last season and taking the piss.

I'm glad ours is 3pm on the Saturday, but some of the games that have been moved are atrocious.

Shrewsbury away for us, the highest ranked team in the draw. I'd take a boring 0-0 but realistically can't see anything less than a 4-0 defeat.
