Wow, 3-1 down at half time, thought that was game, set and match, but these lads don't give up and we came away with a 4-3 away win. Looking forwRd to the draw on Monday. Unlike lots of others, would love a good run in the Trophy.

Fuck off. Absolute embarrassment the lot of em. Attendance 329 + 11 on the pitch. A performance devoid, of effort, desire or passion. Joke.

Taking nothing away from Altrincham who are a very good side who completely deserved the win. A Marcus Marshall own goal and a stupid hand ball from Marcus Marshall gifting Alty a 2-0 lead within 15 minutes which they never looked like losing.

Well I enjoyed that. Draw was a fair result as Chelmsford were on top for the first 20 minutes and last half hour and we had the 40 minutes in between. Tactically very fascinating to view and I've got to say our defending today was superb. Shame to go down to 10 from a very soft second yellow and then concede but I'm still confident of us progressing on Wednesday night.

Scott Davies is also going to have a field day in his NLP article after today's shenanigans with plenty of stick from our supporters (some of which was way over the top). He just won't mention the total shithousery in trying to get Sam Cox sent off which led to all the abuse in the first place...

We rarely win at Alfreton but this team are really going places, even with numerous players out today,... apart from anything else only conceded 4 goals in the last 15 league/FAT games whilst scoring 41. After 2 years of hell this is a nice change :10:

Can see why. Was very impressed by you from back to front.

We were just not good enough. Threatened a little bit in the second half and forced a couple of good saves from Tony Thompson but thats 4 straight home defeats and in each of those we have conceded at least once in the first 15 minutes.

We were very average 1st half against a lively Cray side, can see why they are doing well in the Bostik league. 2nd half we pulled our socks up and inthe end could have scored more. A much needed 5k in the bank and hopefully another home draw in the 1st round.

A rare away trip for me, decent performance and good result.

Nice set up, very friendly staff, and I got to meet DSL!

I think Railway Blue was having a dig at me rather than you. I guess it stems from something uncomplimentary I once said about Neil Young.

Just noticed Sparrow liked Railway Blue's post, which is kind of ironic, as "Railway Blue leaving early" is one of Sparrow's four jokes, IIRC.

I would like an interesting away game, sister's fella is a St Albans season ticket holder so that would do. Or maybe Kingstonian though I've done Leatherhead before.

Not long to go!
It'll never match the FAW Premier Cup for status and entertainment, but I do love the FA Trophy.
Marine away please.

East Thurrock away for the second year in a row (the chances of that happening are 4096/1). Did the FA actually draw this properly?

Harrogate at home.
A bankrolled to fuck conference north side. We never slip up against those in the trophy.

No it's just the name-dropping. I met both Neil Young and Jonathon Legard on Saturday but you don't hear me crowing about it.

I left early on Saturday when our relegation was confirmed when the 3rd goal went in. I needed to get some money on a 5-0 in the Ashes. I think we're marginally more shit than the England cricket team.

Guess we're playing Halifax 3 (potentially 4) times in 16 days then.

That's Haringey Borough through to round 2 then! ...... (sorry O's) ....... the position we're in at the moment I'd play our under-12s for this one and concentrate on getting out of the shit rather than yet another appearance at Wembley.....(it's not all it's cracked up to be when you've done it 5 times already)....

Haringey Borough must be chuffed with that draw and I bet O's fans didn't think they'd get the chance to see their team play at White Hart Lane too!

Mind you, the preponderance of ties between National League clubs is a bit suspicious...

Delighted with a home tie against Marine, that has to be winnable.
