Alex Newby has enjoyed a brilliant spell this season for Clitheroe with Goals (16) Penalty (1). I'm surprised they didn't step in for his team mate Kurt Willoughby he's got 21 goals. What a lethal partnership they had, must have been a real handful.

A few of our fans did want him aswell, just happy we have a new striker.

Blyth have had a shocking week. Conced EIGHT in the County Cup against Morpeth and thrashed today by Darlo.

Damaging result for Leamington too. Think they will go down

4 wins in 22 games for Andy Morrell at Tamworth. Todays result at least keeps in a job for next weeks visit to the Impact but I certainly am not ruling them out of the relegation dog fight on that form.

We are throwing our last roll of dice me thinks, signed 2 wingers, one of course as mentioned McKenna from Stockport, the other winger signed this morning Aaron Dwyer signed from Stockport town. Not sure on either, i don't know non-league well enough to know, but we desperately needed wingers so we can just keep ruddy Niall cummins inside the box and stop him having to go outside to create a cross for him to run back in to be at the end of!

nowt to lose if neither do much, seems like 2 the manager has watched and wanted a while.

Absolutely smashed Blyth at BM today, fantastic performance against an out of form side that look like vanishing out of sight from the playoff pack.
What I will say about the players is that they played as a team, passing, movement, looking for each other etc. Each player has shown great character, i couldn't pick any holes from this display today. In fact the scoreline should have been more than 3:0.

The disallowed goal from the impressive David Syers will be interesting to see again, looked a dubious decision from the dodgy linesman.
Nothing really to add about Blyth. Other than they looked a shadow of the team that beat us 3:1 up at Croft Park back in October.

I think i might be inclined to say we've turned the corner with these last two games, the players confidence must be sky high, we're getting better with each game so could spring a few surprises with our tricky fixture list in Feb? - Onwards for the short trip to Bradford next Saturday!

They are absolutely sleepwalking into a relegation battle. With Andy Morrell unaware of the possible consequences that is involved. The noose is tightening.

i'd keep an eye on it all day Kiddy fans, i honestly do not know whether today will be on.

Been dry yesterday all day and will be dry and sunny today so the waterlogged aspect should be removed (saying that i expected it to be fine saturday) it just depends how cold it was last night and how pitch is during day.........Seems like it wasn't as cold as expected, but that is at Stalybridge, not Ashton,

If it is on and your coming......wrap up warm, meant to get between -2 and -5 by 8am tonight in ashton

0-0 at half time.

Even game, thought we’d scored in first few mins when hit bar before again having lots of ball and creating nothing. Kiddy were very slow getting into game but suddenly 25 mins in had a spell on top hitting bar, narrowly going wide and our keeper making a good stop.

We then got back in control during last 5-10 mins but created little again, our sheer lack of confidence/quality in final 3rd shows.

Still we are in this game, Kiddy are more dangerous about box, but who knows

Power struggle trust owns 25% of club but contributes nothing to running of club.
Chairman wants them to put money in or hand shares back to him,he is willing to cover debt if so.
New ground has started to be built and will bring extra income in.
