They don't look overly central, so I'm not sure whether it's a wind-up.

on the end to commemorate the relegations to National League South and merger with Cotswold Rangers.

Quite a classy thing to do imo, shows how serious he is about getting us up the leagues. Nice to see people prepared to put money where their mouth is.

Championship isn't the limit of his ambitions btw, he said last year that's the initial target but once we're established and sustainable up there no reason why we can't go on and push for the Prem. Once we're in the Prem the aim will be to consolidate and then a few years after that maybe push for Europe.

A work-a-day looking top, but blue is best visible against a green backdrop, so it does a job.. As in the graphic above the club badge would have looked better with a similar treatment, i.e. the green doesn't work for esthetics

Cambridge away kit looked decent today, bit different with the gold horizontal dashes across the chest.

Chuffed with ours seeing it in the flesh in full (got the shirt myself obviously!)

Still no kit. Fresh from Vince and Cooper publicly blasting Hummel, with Cooper being particularly critical of their Sport Market UK and Ireland manager Tom Sinclair, calling him a disgrace and a liar, we've now turned their ad boards at the ground and logo on our website upside down,

Not the best start to a new kit deal really.

How come Hummel have managed to supply all their other clients, but not FGR? Can they maybe just not bring themselves to print those three stars on the back?

A few other Hummel clubs have had problems, Charlton weren't happy and heard Telford only got theirs on Tuesday. Thought maybe we'd signed the deal a bit late, but apparently not according to Vince.

Given we still haven't got our kits, we've now scrapped our deal with Hummel and have linked up with Nottingham based firm PlayerLayer (no me neither).

Here are the tempates for their kit design. Pretty similar to the Hummel designs.

Doesn't really matter if it's Playerlayer or Nike, it's a matter of principle and taking a stand. Well done Vince.

btw, neat looking third kit there I reckon. Away one looks decent too.

What the hell were Hummel playing at? At least you're getting similar designs from the new guys.

But they're not? Unsure on the home strip, but the away kit and the 3rd one look different to these eyes.

More stripes on the home kit I think; liked the look of the Hummel one but a photo's not much use if the players have to do skins.
ETA I think we landed on that blue for the third kit just because it was something Hummel had off the peg but reckon they're sticking with it as we've not lost in it yet as much as the colour.

Blue is my favourite colour, but when it comes to footy shirts it has to be either dark/navy blue or else light/sky blue afaic and that's why I like your 3rd kit.

I think the question we're all waiting to have answered is...

Will it have three stars on it?

I like the way that the manufacturer's logo on the away-kit sleeve continues off into the air. Will it count as hand-ball if the ball hits it though?

Not a good sign if even on the templates the logo's peeling off.

Came here to ask about the stars.

The new strips look ok, but the stars are still an embarrassment. It's an opportunity missed.

He has actually posted on our forum in the past though, under the name "Electric Chair".

Smurf used to on OVF (Often not the best idea) some alias’s also popped up now and then that could of been.

Mess for FGR though, Hummel you’d expect to do better. What was the actual issue causing the delay? It’s not like FGR would be a huge order!
