I'd expect some Bamber Bridge players will follow him. Ali Waddecar seems to score loads every season but never gets snapped up by a team in a higher division?!

Bamber Bridge have always wanted silly money for Waddecor and it seems he is happy being the big fish in their small pond, be interesting to see if he follows Reynolds, but I doubt it.

We've got FCUM tomorrow. Seems half their team have had red cards recently so I'm not sure how many they've got available to them. Should be a comfortable win for us but we never like to do things the easy way.

We have Stourbridge, I hope we're up for it and go about it the right way. Our managers have been saying the right things so hopefully we will. The players will still have the Cleethorpes away stupidity in their minds, two nil in the lead with less than ten minutes left and we gifted tgem a draw.

We gifted Stourbridge a win so don't make stupid mistakes cos they will punish you. Same position at2-0 up and gave them all 3 goals. Not a proud moment for us. Are you at home cos I'd expect you to win at home.

Reece Styche left out of the 16 today against Boston. Rumours are that a transfer has been agreed to Alfreton for a smallish fee. Anything from your end DSL?

Loved the FCUM result, but not quite as much as our own v Barrow.

I heard today that we have signed an unnamed striker to be announced early next week. Seems to be Reece Styche. If true that that is a fantastic signing and just the type of striker we need. Good to see that what Wayne witnessed at Altrincham has forced him to act and to show some ambition.

Big blow to Darlo though

John Flanagan working absolute miracles again to get Curzon in the top 10.

Impressive result for FC and their new manager at Kiddy.

I can't say I'm a fan of his below the belt antics, always seems to be a niggly, nasty twat! Can't deny he scores some great goals, just no need for all the other stuff.

Good point. Have never been too much of a fan of Styche and he also struck me as not too much of a fan of us so I do find it interested that he has apparently joined us. We shall see,

Haha. Seems the carcrash at Altrincham last week was enough for Wayne to finally act.

Must be nice to have to have someone to cry about being unambitious one week (ie daddy isn't spending enough £££s to keep us happy, this isn't fair) and then pull a fat cheque out of his arse to keep you happy the next week.

Styche is a great player by the way, and we are a great club.

Never said you werent. Thats not the way I intended to come across. I never said either that I am happy but this is certainly a step in the right direction.

Anyway good win for you guys today which ironically means you are now above us in the table

Not for long now that you have Styche. Mind you we've still got Ainge and Saunders has blossomed this season.

It just pisses me off that as a fan run club we have to be constantly adjusting the budget and fire fighting/selling players to stay in the black when other clubs fans just need to have a whinge at the chairman and he pulls more £££s from his wallet.

But, nobody ever said football was fair I suppose, same with life really.

Darlington 1 Boston United 0

Not a bad day at the office for us today all things considered. A good solid win against a moderate Boston United side who were never play-off material stuff today, it was hard graft but we got their in the end. I'd have to say Boston are one of the dirtiest teams I've seen down at BM this season, wasn't the greatest of games but a wins a win at the end of the day, and that'll do for me.

Another poor referee on display today that was losing control of the game, with some questionable decisions at times.

Probably should have had one or two more goals, their keeper didn't help matters when Saunders was through and got taken out, that was Boston down to nine men.

A decent all round team performance from each individual player today. Onwards to Leamington!

I bet you liked his goal at your place last season, what a beauty. He's a good striker Styche I'll always have fond memories of his brilliant quick-fire hat trick down at Brackley this season.

But other than that, he's been off his game a little bit of lately. Whether you can get him back firing on all cylinders again. Well, good luck to the lad.

True, he can be slightly unconventional at times and i must admit he's a bit of a character. But the jekyll and hyde side of him with his 18 goals in 33 game's for us is pretty decent.

Cigar was lit during our three week Autumn break seeing those results today. Think we can somehow go 2nd if we win our games in hand now.

Don't know if any Spennymoor fans lurk out here, but if so my congratulations to your fans who made it all the way down to Brackley yesterday. You looked a good team, and your keeper was outstanding - but with 10 men we just had to stay calm and take some of our chances.

No-one would argue that the ref had a good game, but ludicrous of the Spennymoor captain, who'd got away without a booking for dragging back a player and giving away a penalty, to 5 mins later square up to a Brackley player (both were booked - maybe the ref could have let it go, but really, neither player can complain), and then 2 mins later to pull back and then cut down the Brackley striker who'd gone by him - a second yellow all day long.

Perhaps the Spennymoor manager was having a bad day, but his endless whinging, one-eyed vision and abuse of the ref was embarrassing - particularly so when I understand he's a teacher... which I'd suggest means he ought to be able to control himself a little better. There is no way I bet he would tolerate his students behaving towards a ref or opponents the way he did today. Not impressed.

Been avoiding this but that was awful yesterday. Nobody came out of the game for us looking good. FCUM fully deserved the win and I think we need a change of system. Can't just rely on Williams' screamers to pull us through.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
John Flanagan working absolute miracles again to get Curzon in the top 10.

Impressive result for FC and their new manager at Kiddy.

The amazing part to this season is he is doing it without Naill Cummins who got a terrible injury end of last season and while now back still isn’t fully involved as missed all pre-season.

Had the a fully fit Cummins, kept McKenna and had Morgan from start I think Curzon would currently be second as they’d beaten Chester, Hereford and Nuneaton but that’s how it goes.

The interesting aspect due to both Ashton clubs doing better than expected so far is the relegation battle because it’s leaving possibilities of a shock side dropping like Tamworth last season.
