Hartlepool looked a decent side, we were poor but still created a number of decent chances. Worst we’ve defended all season though. All 4 goals could have been avoided.
The keeper though, my god what a twat. The only surprise was someone didn’t run on and lamp him, and then that Collins didn’t lamp him, and then the steward trying to get him away didn’t lamp him.

Good.About time of our players started being like that,it happens to us virtually every game.
We’ve been too nicey, nicey & getting nowhere for years now.

Sounds like lots of people who don't like to throw a punch when the chance arises

Everyone's a hard man behind a solid barrier, dunno what Yeovil's problem is with Killip, they gave him grief in our home game (even chucked a padlock at him if you believe the story to be true) gave him grief all game last night and are unhappy when he gives it back.

Some of the six fingered fiends were even berating him when he and the Pools players came across to thank the 101 away fans last night, he's got them rattled?

Maldon & Tiptree's FA Cup second-round game against Newport County or Grimsby Town will be shown live on BBC Two.

The game will take place on Friday, 29 November and coverage will start at 19:55 GMT.

Eighth-tier non-league club Maldon & Tiptree reached the second round for the first time in their history by beating League Two side Leyton Orient.

Newport and Grimsby drew 1-1 in the first round and their replay will take place on 20 November.

BT Sport will televise three live matches from the second round: Eastleigh or Stourbridge v Crewe on Saturday, 30 November (17:30 GMT kick-off), Wycombe or Tranmere v Chichester on Sunday, 1 December (kick-off time to be confirmed) and Solihull Moors v Rotherham on Monday, 2 December (19:45).

We've avoided our game with Fylde being on the Friday, which for me is fantastic news as that is the wife's birthday. Now I just hope for it to stay Saturday 3pm & not be moved to Sunday for the BBC's show.

He certainly did, it doesn't seem to take a lot to rattle a few of our younger fans. I did think someone was going to run on the pitch and one point though, it was poorly handled by the stewards. I think the reason Collins ran up to him straight after the whistle was that he was deliberately winding the fans up, hoping for a reaction (which he got) similar to the Haringey debacle.

Unfortunately some of your players believed it too. I well remember Emlyn Hughes wordlessly putting your captain back in his place with a searing blanking, when he stepped up to collect an award on an episode of Question of Sport. #OuchThatHadToHurt :ds:

Emlyn Hughes wasn't the brightest spark and generally disliked, even by his own team.

I saw that Adebayor celebration again the other day which is the best example of fans pretending they want a fight with a player. The amount of energy expended in getting no closer to their target.

Same could be said for the keeper though - acting hard knowing that no one will be able to get on to the pitch.

If we could score we'd have won that tie. But we can't, so we're out

Exeter away for us then. Apparently the cheapest way to get there for our lot is flying from Newcastle with a change in Alicante.

Got to say -- Bromley were very unlucky.

Sounds very similar to us few years ago when we were non league and we played League One Shrewsbury, we murdered them at home but missed chance after chance and drew 0-0 and then dominated the replay and missed 3 or 4 great chances in that before losing 1-0 in injury time to virtually the only chance they had across both games. :dis:
Then just for good measure they nicked our manager off us and we’ve been complete turd for three years since.

And as if it couldn't get any worse, you've got Limbrick as manager at the moment.

Darlington played like a team of excitable kids last night. Everything 100mph with little control and firing the ball into one another.

The better side in the main but lacked any sort of quality in the final third, perhaps not aided by the pitch cutting up.

The absentees told for us on the night unfortunately. 3 first teams out for the season. 2 squad players away on international duty. And our 6ft+ CF recalled by Middlesborough days before the original tie.

Still very pleased with our work in the competition, the finances its raised and taking a FT league two side so close over two games.

Annoyingly our game at Peterborough has been moved to Sunday afternoon
Rumoured to be because of Ipswich fans going to Coventry or something?

So 700 Alty fans travelling tomorrow to watch us play the mighty Portsmouth who are unbeaten in 8 and appear to be close to the league 1 playoffs. They are 3 divs higher, does anyone give us a chance :dk::fish:

Maldon look far too good for step 4. Laste Dombaxe looks class.
