When discussing the pros and cons of Flipflop you shouldn’t be resorting to comparing his side to the current worst side in the EFL. That’s not an unbiased view.

Mansfield could be a dark horse for relegation this year. Proper woeful. Worst side we've played this year. Bit annoyed we didn't score more as dominated the game from start to finish. Oh well. 3 points and onto the next game. Utc. Ages till my train!
That’s a very bold statement to make.

Obsessed Magpie on another of our threads again.

2018/19 at Notts County

Kevin Nolan 0%
Harry Kewell 0%

It’s been a bad season so far. 1+1=2

Obsessed with whom? Mansfield? Lincoln? Vale? Grimsby? Steve Evans? Who?

I’ve been accused of being obsessed with each at some point of last season and a bit, kinda defeats and negates the point

That’s a very bold statement to make.

Bold and stupid because if he was at the game he must have spent most of it sniffing glue.

Exeter edged it and where far more clinical, Law and Boateng were superb but I thought it was a very good game if it had ended a draw they may have been slightly aggrieved but it wouldn't have been robbery.

Flitcroft made an error in selection but Butcher had a stormer last time out so I can understand why he did it.

Exeter are a good side in my view and Taylor seems to have done a great job considering the off season comings and goings.

Absolutely, you looked a top 3 side, we looked a top half side yesterday, which I think is a pretty accurate picture of where we’re both at
i have a reputation for being too optimistic for all things City, but I genuinely feel this is the best squad we have had since the 89/90 season, and we won the league that year. A long way to go, and our brilliant rookie manager is bound to make some mistakes, but very confident this time out

It’s certainly a squad that has plenty of options and a nice mix between talented youngsters and experience. We also arguably have the best striker in L2 and one of the top goalkeepers too which helps.

I do worry that an injury to certain players (particularly Stockley) would see us severely weakened in that area, although Forte is also decent. The midfield is very strong, considering Lee Martin can’t get into the team at the moment and defensively we are well balanced. Still a long way to go but I’d be disappointed if we aren’t in an automatic promotion race, to the wire at least. Taylor is still learning and will make mistakes but he seems to learn quickly so I am optimistic.

Even against one of the better teams in Exeter we had nearly 60% possession, put Mansfield up against anyone in this league and we will have a lot more of the ball but we need to start making chances out of it, and in games where we do (ie Carlisle the other week) take those chances.

Three points against Cambridge please.

Yep, looking good, loads of decent defenders and too many decent midfielders to fit in the team, Matt's biggest problem may be keeping everybody happy !
