As ever this gets moved to a stupid kickoff day/time, cos Sky love a derby don't they? :)

Really have no idea what to reckon about this, both teams have had more downs than ups so far, both teams have problems and weaknesses, as well as other areas they do well. Saints look to have picked up slightly the last couple of games, whereas we've gone from a pretty good 4-5 weeks into two disappointing performances/results.

The biggest question for us is over Lewis Cook and whether he'll start. Since being quite randomly dropped back to the bench, we've lacked any fluidity to our midfield. He comes on 2-0 down with 20 minutes to go against Burnley the other night, low and behold we start getting on the ball and making things happen, got one back and could have eeked a totally undeserved draw. Yeah he's just turned 20 and is raw, yeah he'll give the ball away trying something risky. But we simply aren't big, strong, or good enough a club / squad to be keeping someone of his ability on our bench for the sake of steadier more experienced midfield plodders.

After this, there's Palace away next week, and then a nightmare run of games begins. So we need something really from this or we'll be dropping back into choppy waters in spite our Oct/Nov shift to climb out.

Adam Smith diving over Boufal tackle. Stonewall penalty if he allows contact.

5live said the ref would have given it if the Bournemouth bloke hadn't dived so "well"

Bournemouth deserve that lead at half time. We've passed the ball backwards more times than we have forwards. Their goal came from Romeu needlessly passing it back to the defenders.

Saints I know have given Forster shit for a long time now, but he's made two brilliant stops for them already.

Maybe shaded that half, King taking advantage of a mistake. VVD missed a header he should be scoring. Tight game, as probably expected. Both benches will have a part to play.

Clear penalty for us, shame none of the officials saw King basically ripping Hoedt's shirt off him.

Disappointed we didn't win that but a draw was probably a fair result.

Shame the officials didn't see the constant grabbing from King on free kicks and corners. It's a foul.

Ahh could have had them there. Wilson with an open goal, yeah it stops fast but expect him to bury those. Saints had chances too. Another draw between us it is.

Had to laugh at the flair and smoke for their goal.

How come Austin was getting some stick prior to his goal Mark?

Not necessarily a Saints thing, although that adds something, mostly it goes back some years. We almost signed him a couple of times from Poole, but couldn't due to Football League restrictions on us around those times (not his fault obviously). But everywhere he's gone, from Poole Town friendlies, all through his career after we missed out on him to Swindon, Burnley etc, he's always scored against us. So he's always had a little bit of stick from some here, and once for QPR he gave it back in particularly enthusiastic fashion. So it's continued basically ever since, whenever we meet (as in the home gave v Saints the other year) a section here give him stick. Usually he scores and he gives it back!
