Now now GB. Smashed when beaten by a single goal is a bit of an exaggeration.

I agree he's shit though.

Unlike yourself, I don't lather the keyboard with rabid spit, set mental notes to post after each result of another team, and be desperate to prove I'm right or wrong about an opinion expressed on a message board. Nor am I someone who's still bitter at how a former manager, the best their club had in their lifetime, is doing with another team while their own team does fab a league below.

Bit since I'm here, which quotes of mine are wrong? I realise this would mean you learning to read then read my posts, but have a little try and then indulge me.

Can you give us a rundown of his current 70 million quids worth of STREAKY STREAK while you're here mate? GodsGift and Steven provided some fascinating statistics on the last page if you need any help.

Oh, and if you click on my username there's an option to "start a conversation". That's how you PM me the apology for talking wet in my thread mate. TIA.

Be careful choosing that smiley mate. Made yourself look a bit daft last time you used it.

No need mate. Same as Pardew's shameful Palace stats, your cries of STREAK are there for all to read if they wish. Is your PM function broken or something?

Smashed by a Swansea side on a 9 game winless run. You have to imagine he'd have already been sacked if not for the hilarious £3.5mil Palace paid for his "services".

I've received numerous grovelling PM's, which I very much appreciate and will keep private because I can respect those who are willing to apologise when they've made themselves look daft. Real men can admit when they're blatantly wrong, but I'm still waiting on a couple from the more vocal know-nothings, which I find very surprising.

This is so sad it made me feel bad for laughing.

You are welcome to dig up some quotes though, unsure which I am to back down from. Hope you're well mate, don't let anonymous posters' opinions regarding a former manager of yours bring you down. You're stronger than this. Hugs!

Pardew definitely did more to GB than manage his club in a shit fashion, what happened GB, come on you can tell us.

PM received, thanks Bilo mate. Now, some would say that an 817 word apology is overkill, but I personally thought it was an excellent read from start to finish, especially the paragraph dedicated to your admiration and respect for my good friend Dessy. I'm man enough to admit I did tear up briefly. Powerful, humbling stuff. They were all wrong about you imo, you're a good egg really. All the best and take care mate x

Pardew beat Southampton 3-0 yesterday. All by himself as well. It's got bugger all to do with Forster's howler.

Well with Pardew we all knew what we were getting ourselves in for. You have got to take the good form with the bad. It's just how much of the bad you can take.
I'm concerned our fan base have hit that point now where even if we build up form again Hull, United and Chelsea it will be a case of "oh here we go again" once we lose and a negative atmosphere is created very quickly.
If it was my decision I would have got rid of him after the Swansea game, late November is the ideal time to appoint a new manager as it gives him an opportunity to assess the whole team before January. That's not to mean I won't support Pardew now. He is a club icon that presented me with an FA Cup final I thought id never see and he has turned round bad runs before.

In truth, are Palace not where you'd roughly expect them to be? 13th would be a decent finish on the whole. Albeit the league is so tight from 10th and below anyone could get dragged in

Being 13th right now is not representative of where we really are. We're a championship club, but the past year has been awful, not just results wise, but everything as a whole, on and off the pitch. Luckily we have a great chairman.

Y'all can close this thread now. Certain people will need some time to walk off the pain from their slapped arses, but my superb analysis has proven to be 100% correct (is it ever anything but?) and my work here is certainly done.

They might get Big Sam now. Most unwelcome news.

I have nothing against Samuel. He's a decent manager and he laughed at Chico for being a little bitch.

Sam should see us be boringly mid-table every year, but atleast we definitely won't be swapping places with Brighton now.

Totally unjustified, the guy is a fine manager with a fine winning record.

Not really.

Palace wouldn't have gone down under Pardew. They won't go down with Big Sam in charge though so win-win situation for the club.
