Funny game this. Leeds have been pretty shit for a bit now, after a scintillating start. This should be a comfortable win, as I think they have two of their main defenders out, but this is villa we are talking about. Great chance to build momentum after the Cardiff result, and the build up to the play offs. Keeps the pressure on Cardiff and Fulham too. 2.1 Villa, 34,345( 2278 Leeds)

Main 2? We've barely got 2 defenders to choose from at all....although you could argue nobody has turned up in our defense this calendar year. Heckingbottom will continue to attempt to mix it up in a vague attempt to suss out the players who will leave this summer, ironically if no good signs are shown in the remaining games, it could be him going.

Comfortable home win for Villa, Leeds are woeful at the minute.

Deserved victory tonight. Could easily have been 2 or 3. Will take the 1-0 and another 3 points. Never really looked in trouble apart from the first 5-10 mins of the 2nd half. Leeds were really poor. Play-off place in the bag, just hoping for very unlikely slip ups from Cardiff and Fulham. Never know in the Championship but would have taken a play-off place before the season.

this squad is worse than the one that went down in 2007 imo, luckily for us the bottom 5 or 6 are worse than us......... if it wasn't for our ridiculously good start we'd be relegated now

Very easy game, but far from our best. First half was like a training session. Second half Leeds had a bit of a go, but we were pretty comfortable. Frustrating we couldn't kill the game off. Leeds were shit, and I weren't overly impressed with us tbf. We need to play much better than that in the play offs.
