Those decisions are annoying but we were 3-1 when the first happened, self inflicted and deservedly 3-1 down.

We had 2 penalty appeals turned down at 3-1 (one was absolute stone wall, same shit as last season). We get one and score and it's game on. I'm very bitter about losing that game, the officiating was horrific. Don't mind losing when we are deservedly beat, but not like that.

Well beaten. Taken to the cleaners.
But if Villa loyal comes on all arrogant and obnoxious, how will we know?
At least if we were beaten by Cardiff, very few people would see it :bg:
You never played that bad. We just played really well.

It's easy to say stop moaning when you get decisions like this week after week. Feels more like a kick in the teeth when you cater in the fact it was the same referee as last season who cheated us of the game.

Understand if there's only a goal in it, but you got done by three today mate. Take it on the chin and move on.

This thread is absolutely hilarious, you were completely outplayed on the day, just accept it and stop being so damn bitter about it.

Be funny as fuck if Wolves finished in the playoffs and were beaten in the first round by Millwall (not to sound disrespectful to Millwall...I mentioned them purely because they've come from nowhere and are in with a proper shout of top 6)

He didn't deliberately hit the ball with his hand, it's not a penalty.

I think we definitely deserved to win, but I can see why wolves fans are a bit pissed off with some of the decisions, that went our way. Great win.

I wouldn't say I come across arrogant on here.

Agreed mate. The referee was shit, but it doesn't take anything away from your performance. You deserved the win.

I think the comment is serious, but the knowledge behind it is incorrect. The law ruling causes issues because of the term ''deliberate". Often people mistake this as in player puts there hand out deliberately or attempts to handle.

In this case the interpretation is still deliberate in the sense he's moved his arm into an unnatural position and gained an advantage.

Clear as mud...

That’s my understanding too, whether he did it deliberately or not if the players arm is that far away from his body it’s always a pen for me.

Don't think you will find many people who don't think it's a pen. Was at the game yesterday and didn't even know there was a possible handball till I saw in on the TV last night (was up the other end). Should have been given for sure.

I was serious. The unnatural position thing is probably true, but that's guidance rather than the law itself so it's quite subjective. The fact that he's gained an advantage is irrelevant.

I know penalties regularly get awarded in similar situations and I wouldn't complain too much if such a decision was awarded against my team, but my view is it shouldn't be a penalty

He literally punched the ball which deflected it over the bar with his hand from an outstreched position. In what world is that not a penalty? Have you seen the free kick? I feel you're taking the piss here.

Can't find a live video but some of these still images are convincing enough...

I got back from the game, and had a few in town, but not before collecting my winnings from the Workingmans club. It's a wolves pub, and the landlord is a blue nose, so I had great pleasure walking in there.
