The following will happen

Akinde will score and high chance it will be a ball over the defenders before he smashes it in.

Are you Tesco in disguise? To be meekly sung.

I've got great memories of playing Colchester in the conference, the play off semis and the FA cup all such a long time ago

Hopefully we continue to creep up the league

Although we beat them to the title that year, the games against them weren't the best.

Have much better memories meeting them again in their first season back in the league a couple of seasons later. 3-1 win for our first home game on a Friday night and then a 2-1 win, again on a Friday, at Layer Road. Both times coming from a goal behind. Carl Hoddle scoring a stunner in the home game and Gary Bull with an over head kick to win the return.

Having only endured a hapless Carlisle performance this season, I don't expect as good as back then. Hopefully some of this better football which apparently we have been capable of this season might be on offer tomorrow.

I'm also going having seen the Carlisle 'performance' and the opening day draw at Cambridge which wasn't amazing either.

This obviously means we'll lose 4-0.

I remember going to a couple of games at Layer road in the 90s, not seen a game against Colchester since and I will be missing tomorrows game.
Only seen the Crawley game so far, we scored in first 5 minutes, then gave the opposition the ball until they scored. Once they scored then we battered them for the rest of the game.
If we get a goal up then I expect another attempt to shut up shop.

A screamer from outside the area like the ones Carl Hoddle or Jason Puncheon scored against Colchester Utd in previous matches would do me. Or how about the Admiral copying Ismail Yakabu and scoring after a one-two?

DOMINATED the second half. Think the referee invented a new rule where the ball can touch any part of your arm/hand at any time - hope he wasn't being assessed today (well yeah I do actually, he was a knob). The team grafted in that second half and deserved more than one goal.

Still, the first half was fucking awful and deserved a bollocking. Batt just isn't very good at this sport! I love the bloke and want him to perform well so much, but the chances he missed were horrendous, especially that third header. Ak-Ak changed the game when he came on - why he doesn't start I don't know - and credit to MA for having the balls to change things after 25 minutes or so.

Colchester were alright, one of those games where no one stood out for good or bad reasons. Chance at the lower-end of the playoffs perhaps.

Bondz N'Gala needs to not play in the team for a while, he's an accident waiting to happen.

We were really disappointing today, especially after we had started so brightly. Looked good for the opening 15 minutes and had the goal, but really poor from then on. Szmodics seemed to pull up not long after the goal and we really missed his energy off of Porter, who was then completely isolated for the remaining 80 minutes.

Barnet looked handy on the break in the first half but as the game went on we just sat back deeper and deeper. Half-time came at a good time for us but we didn't seem to really pick anything up in the second half either. The equaliser was inevitable and it was frustrating that as soon as the goal finally arrived we started to look a bit more like the team from the opening quarter of an hour again. Need to be much better really.
