This has proved to be popular in the football league forums so let's start one in here to give the non league fans a chance to name there best young players.

    The rules are:

    1) Has to be in first team (starting 11)
    2) Maximum age of 19
    3) Reasons why you think they will make it at a higher level.
4)Who have they already been linked with.

    Two in our squad

    Leo Smith-M
    Age 19
Wales U19 international. Played 20 times last season (1 goal). Has looked good in pre-season, looking stronger and more of a goal threat. We've got lots of good options in midfield this season but I expect him to feature throughout the season.

    Olly Marx- CB
    Age 18
Stepped up after Curtis Tilt went to FGR last season and looked mature beyond his years. Good size, mobile. Could have a big future.

Both have been linked with moves into the league. Not sure who with though.

There will be a maximum of about 10 teenagers in the starting XIs of this league that aren't loan players, so this is a bit pointless.
Jimmy Dunne is on loan at Barrow from Burnley, and you can already tell that he'll play higher up.
Donovan Makoma is the only other teenager in our squad, but we haven't seen him in a competitive game yet.

We have a ridiculously young team and still only have two teenagers in the squad (I think), neither of whom actually play.

Would be surprised if there were many teenagers in the starting XIs in this league

Don't remind us, I went into that game with such hope, we'd just kept a clean sheet against Lincoln after all, and then you obliterated us with your 3rd team

We have alot of promising youngsters, but we sold our best one Steve Azalte to Brighton.

I'd tell fellow National League fans to watch out for Josh Koroma for us, 18 years old with alot of pace and skill - Just needs to work on his final ball/shot.
