Need a big response after the shit show we were served up in the Derby game, Carlos has come out all guns blazing in his press conference and taken all the flack for his players. If they can't play for him after that then Carlos might as well give up, top 2 is already looking a long way away but it's still early days and you never know if we get on a run, just need to get back on track tonight with the same team making amends.

Very big/ important game for Wednesday, who should be psyched up to put in a display after losing the derby in such poor fashion.

However it’s probabably an even bigger/ important game for Birmingham.
They are in the relegation spots and will be desperate to put in a good performance.

Could be a surprisingly tough game for Wednesday.
When both teams need to win, it often ends in a draw.
So i’ll go for a 1-1 draw and neither team will be happy.

Rumour is Westwood is sidelined for a month.

Might be the best thing for him, I always think unless a goalkeeper is challenged for his spot he goes off the boil.

Agree we should be psyched up for it, however we should also have been psyched up even more so for the Derby and barring a few we weren't.
Lose here and Carlos is in real trouble, hoping to see us bounce back, heart says we will, head not so sure.
Probably a draw. Which really isn't good enough, if we still want to harbour promotion thoughts.

The tide of optimism has all but dried up, the waves of another relegation battle are lapping around our heels, I fear we’ll start strongly, dominate possession, create a few half chances without converting then eventually concede a couple of late breakaway goals.

0-2

The goals column for Birmingham City is a higher number than that of the opposition, what is this strange phenomenon!!?!..

Absolute shite again, getting fed up of this low tempo predictable football, we never even got going tonight and that goal they scored was the most inevitable thing ever, especially after we had a goal disallowed. It's a shame because I really like Carlos and overall he's done a good job, but his time has to be up now. 10 games in and we are sat in 14th with this squad, and not only have we failed to address the issues in our play from last season, we actually seem to have gone backwards. Leeds will be leaving Hillsborough with 3 points on Sunday.

Christ that was one horrible game of football, countless misplaced passes from both teams and errors aplenty.
I think Birmingham are the worst team I have seen this season, we had most of the possession but didn't really create anything. Their Keeper made two great saves but only one of them was from a chence other was a long range effort.

Birmingham looked even worse (more error prone) than us but still managed to produce 3 very good chances, blazed the first two over the bar, which rather summed up the night, before scoring from the third.

Even the atmosphere was terrible, been to hundreds of away matches before but can't recall our fans being so subdued ever (no alcohol in ground probably not helping) and the Birmingham fans also sitting in silence apart from two or three short outburst, where bizarrely considering the previous silence, they were very noisy.

Think if Carlos is still in a job on Sunday, anything less than a win will signal the end for him.
Sad really we've had some great times under his stewardship, but it seems he has taken us as far as he can.
Today was totally insipid and lacking any belief and the amount of times we stopped and turned to go backwards or sideways was incredible.
Bannon is also wasted playing so deep, most of the time receiving the ball from off the centre backs toes.
Worrying times I would suggest for both sets of supporters.

All relative mate, 2015/16 was great, compared with the shite we had been served up for the previous 20 years.

You've seen your team challenge for the title in the top division, win a league cup, play in Europe and get to 2 cup finals in the same season and you class finishing 6th as great in the 2nd division, truly laughable

Well he did say compared to the previous few years!

Bit like last season must have been great after so long in League One for you guys - or maybe it was just relief?

I agree, in principal with what you're saying, but when I or any Owls fans say 91-93 was a great time, you lot accuse us of living in the past.
Compared to the last 20 years 15/16 was maybe not great but very good, some fantastic performances and occasions.
Sure I have read and heard about Blades fans telling me Sunday was great, ( think you yorself said best feeling ever) are they wrong then, as you beat us in the top flight in 91/92.
Make your mind up you can't have it both ways

Sunday was great let's be reyt if you scored 4 goals at bramall lane whilst being the underdogs that would be one of your finest moments too.

As was beating Arsenal, Newcastle, Cardiff, Brighton and many others in 15/16, not just winning but the manner of the victories and the overall occasions. Hence why I said "we had some great times" and didn't say finishing 6th in 15/16 and 4th in 16/17 was great.
