Come on Bournemouth, do a job here and the first objective for the season will be just about complete. We've got an almost fully fit squad to pick from, we played some decent stuff last week for periods against a classy Spurs, and we've had the manager and various players coming out all week talking about how important this game is. We lost away to West Brom on the opening day which needs putting right. So no excuses.

Off the pitch I see West Brom are about to name a Chinese director as their new Chairman. On the pitch they're expected to be without Sturridge, Barry, Morrison, and Chadli due to injuries.

I have to fancy the Cherries to do the business, Tottenham were flattered by the score last time out, and the Baggies seem to be in an uncontrollable nose dive...

Spot on!
The result masks what was actually a pretty poor showing from us, we couldn't have complained if we'd lost. In previous seasons we absolutely would have lost that.

Individual quality from Ibe and Stanislas the difference. Ibe one of our better players throughout and deserved his goal. Think the fact we'd spent most of the game walking and tippy tapping the ball around meant that when Ibe decided to just have a go, it caught Foster off guard.

Stanislas had a crap game but you cant argue with an 89th minute free kick curled into the near corner.

Fingers crossed the injuries to Smith and Francis arent bad, we arent blessed with lots of options in those positions.

Why thank you sir, I predicted the same in a predictions league I'm in to keep me on top! :bg: As for the nature of the win, doesn't matter at this stage of the season, I've seen Tottenham win "ugly" a fair few times under Poch, any team with hopes of longevity in this league, never mind winning silverware, has to learn the craft of winning when not playing well. Mourinho has made a career out of it!;)

Kind of sums up the respective seasons - Bournemouth making a habit of scoring late goals whilst WBA keep finding ways to lose !
