Still without a commanding Right-footed CB, but we've started alright.

Blackburn will prove to be our toughest test so far, but their start has raised a few eyebrows. The quality is there, and they may just need time to gel. I don't rate Mowbray as a manager in any league, and he is known for being tactically inept - hopefully he won't prove me wrong, here.

With Vincelot still suspended, and Wyke returning from injury, it needs to be the same team as last week for me. 4-3-3 is a fine balance for the players we currently have at our disposal. Again, unlucky on Shay McArten, as he looks for some more game time - having played Wigan today behind closed doors, beating them and McArten notching a brace. He'll be hungry from the bench.

GK: Colin Doyle

RB: Tony McMahon
CB: Matt Killgallon
CB: Nat Knight-Percival
LB: Tom Field

RCM: Jake Reeves
CM: Timotheé Dieng
LCM: Nicky Law

RW: Alex Jones
CF: Omari Patrick
LW: Dominic Poleon

Being at Valley Parade, we always have a chance - our record here is second to none. Of course a bad result can come at any time, but I'd like to think the boys will be confident, and we'll be backed by 20,000 Bantams.

2-1 Poleon and McArten to score.

Yes I thought along the same lines, but it wouldn't surprise me if our defence let us down here late on to draw. Still confident at home though, you don't go 31 league games without defeat by accident even though some of the personnel have changed. RoversFan2001 says they have nearly sold their allocation, with this been one of the few teams who'll bring a decent following I'm looking forward to this one atmosphere should be decent.

Same team again as above, the 4-3-3 ish formation best suits those players as it was last week, early form suggests a home win but I'd take a draw.

I've no idea how this game will pan out, we've been awful so far this season but we must click sometime, the quality is there at least for us to win this. Likewise for us this is our toughest test yet, I know you have been unbeaten at home for ages but I see that ending. 2-1 Rovers in front of over 22,000 fans (2,000 Rovers).

Looking forwards to this one, must be nearly 30 years since my last visit to VP.
Both of us went close to promotion to Division one only to loose in the playoffs.
We will turn it around at some point, just don't think it'll be on Saturday.

I'll go for a score draw. We'll lose our unbeaten record to some no hope team stranded at the bottom when the table settles down, it's always the way

I noticed that due to missing a few games in a select pattern, apart from Millwall at Wembley I haven't seen us lose live since 26th Jan 2016 against Barnsley. Must be some record as a City fan.

I've no confidence whatsoever that we'll get anything, need a drastic improvement on the dross served up on Saturday. Still think we have a better squad than last season but something sadly missing, confidence or tactics maybe. Only allocated 1200 or so tickets according to twitter, thought the away end held 1800?

That was the initial allocation. Actually, the stand behind the goal has a truer capacity of circa 1,500. We also allocate two blocks in the side stand which bumps the total away allocation to 2,700ish if required.

Not quite, though the club are leaving fans in the dark as to how many are left so no-one knows. We're close though, sold over 2k by the looks of it.

'At least 2,000' quoted on our OS.

'Bit strange how Rovers haven't confirmed what's left. There really is room for 2,700 of you, unless we have sold more in the home end of Midland Road than usual, which wouldn't surprise me tbh.

I just hope we're in good voice - always nice to show new opposition how good VP is when in full voice.

We've got 1,200 behind the goal and blocks F and G in the Midland Road so 2.3k, but we might have been given slightly more behind the goal after the 1,200 sold out so should be quite a high gate then in either case.

You're better off in the Midland Road after the 1200 sell out behind the goal. The remaining 700 behind the goal are on ground level and the view is shit.

Well POTD is available for us so looks like the lower tier behind the goal has been opened. Surprised at how many we're bringing tbh

You've already sold all tickets available in the stand behind the goal. Our fans still think it holds 1800+, it doesn't. It's circa 1,500. Those have already been sold, and anything in addition will be in the Midland road blocks. Each block holds circa 650 seats, and you've been allocated two. As said before, total capacity is circa 2,700.

Well we only sold 1,200 behind the goal so even then there's still 300 seats remaining there. We've already been given the two blocks in the Midland Road (approx 1100 seats) and have already sold the vast majority of those tickets (ie not enough left to be relied on for POTD).

I had Blackburn down as the only banker away sell out this season at VP, surprised there's still a few left for a game a little over an hour away

Just because you were initially allocated 1200 and the Dallas, doesn't mean the remaining set of tickets were then released on the side stand. Your second allocation also included circa 300 tickets for the lower Dallas (nearest the tunnel). Your POTD allocation with arguably be the best view, nearer towards the touch line of the second to end block in the Midland Road.

Don't ask how I know this, cos you wouldn't believe me anyway.

First time I've seen us, difficult to decide what to make of it, thought we were poor but it was more a tactical issue than personnel. Don't think Stuart knows his best side at all or how to utilise some of the players. Blackburn on the other hand looked set as a team but were limited all over the field apart from Dack who looks a very good player still. Can't see them running away with the league, maybe they needed to grind one out today to get going Blackburn did shade it so fair play to them. Ref was awful it has to be said but I wouldn't blame defeat on him. On to the next one.

Yes we need to drop the diamond, no width and our full back don't have the quality to double up as wingers. Law leaves me feeling we're a man short in midfield, as when we aren't on the ball he has no aggression or tackle in him and on the ball he totally takes the momentum out of our attacks. Very frustrating, but very early days and still more players to come in and back from injury/suspension.

Thought Law played ok today, he's lightweight but he tries make stuff happen. Dieng was steady and Reeves looked a bit lost. But you're right, the system just doesn't work, got overloaded too easy and started hoofing it which played into their hands. For all the talk of the defence I actually think it's looking ok although Field had a day to forget.

Law gets away with looking ok because he doesn't give it away, no good though when every pass is 4 yards sideways or backwards, he has no threat or creativity to his game whatsoever.
As above, two poor sides, Blackburn less so but maybe 0-0 would've better reflected the game, special mention to the ref on an equally atrocious effort, one of the worst for a long time.

Not that surprised by this result, Bradford going into the game with a fantastic long unbeaten home record, Rovers still adjusting to league 1, something had to give and it did.............
