Late KO, think they're 7th aren't they? So it'll be 6th vs 7th if Derby win tonight which they probably will do, chance to open up a considerable gap if we beat them.

Fielding
Wright Flint Baker
Vyner Brownhill Smith Kelly
Eliasson Paterson
Reid
Could end up getting dicked with that team but we have to try something different at home to what we have been doing.

City 2-1 Boro (Eliasson 18' Paterson 86') (Braithwaite 28')

19,256 (1,249 Boro)

Will be a tight game, Middlesbrough not scoring or conceding many, probably a low score draw.

Why you saying us? You don't support city.

Anyway, Middlesbrough are one team we do tend to do well against. 2-1
And Eliasson has improved massively recently. All of our (admittedly limited) threat against Preston was through him and he did well against Hull too.
He's even improved his defensive side of the game (despite his header in the build up to Hulls 2nd)

The blokes a tool. No idea why he's keeping his parody going.

Last 2 games eliasson has been quality, arguably our best player intact. If the news about Callum is true I can see him being a regular until at least the new year.

We have Leko as well, who looked really good in the games he was given other than Norwich and one of the home ones which I can't remember. Bags of ability, not a lot of consistency but Abraham was like that at the start as an 18 year old. Him and Eliasson are adequate cover, not too arsed about losing O'Dowda.

I'd say losing COD is quite a big loss. Especially away from home. He's arguably been our best player in recent months. Leko has been a big disappointment after showing early promise, and Elliasson still is a bit of a unknown.

I've never really been a big fan of O'Dowda but he's been good since the Palace game. Finally added a bit of end product to his game.

Wasnt Leko constantly tearing Derby apart?
And then had a terrible game the one after.

Yeah, Olsson and Keogh must still be having nightmares about that match. Also at Wolves he was our best player by a mile in the first half, their fans were well impressed with him. Was gliding past players and getting himself out of tricky situations with quick feet. That game was more impressive, as he was getting booed by 20 odd thousand people everytime he touched it.

Leko does to many step overs, if he spent less time show boating and more time playing he might be a good player

Precisely.

One good performance doesnt mean he will be great, but nor does one bad one mean he will be terrible.

He has been bad more than he has good.

I have a eye for talent unfortunately he doesn’t have any I can see

It’s getting very Otib on here at the moment.

People getting excited over a player having a good game & another player now worth £££ because he got a few goals early doors

Imagine if they supported Brentford

Probably because he isn't a fan of Bristol city.

Over excited over who? Eliasson looked fantastic the other day he needs a run in the side now O'Dowda isn't available.

Also, if Reid goes in January it'll be for £15m+. You said "imagine if we supported Brentford" we'll look what happened when Hogan scored goals for the same period of time at this level that Reid has....

Reid out of contract & been a under performer for years & came from a piss poor academy.

Hogan rose through the lower leagues & has a scoring history not hard to see why he went for £££

Eliasson looked fantastic against a patchwork Preston side lol.

Let’s see him do it against Boro Saturday, Forest week after.

Creaming yourselves over 1 game where he ran well against a team that is out of sorts isn’t really anything to shout about

Doesn't matter how well he does though does it? You've already written him off, just like you are refusing to accept reids a good player.

Has it not occurred to you that in those seasons that he was average, he was in fact playing in his wrong position and we are all reaping the benefits now he is in his strongest position? Or are you that stupid to grasp such a concept?

Back onto eliasson, even if he has a great game in those 2 games you've just mentioned, we all know that you will spout some more bullshit that he needs to stay consistent for the season.
