Can't break teams down against can't score goals, only one way this is ending. I'm not even arsed about missing this one which I may well do.

Fielding
Brownhill Flint Baker Magnusson
Eliasson Smith Pack Bryan
Reid Diedhiou
Please for fuck sake Johnson, no Diony, no Kent and no Bailey Wright. Wright's had a solid season but has been out of sorts lately and will be no good at RB against a team with 11 behind the ball. Give Eliasson a go.

City 0-0 Wednesday.

Weather may see this one gone....

Not sure we will take as many as that either.

Hunt could be out after being injured at Swansea.

Wildsmith
Palmer
Lees
Venancio
Pudil
Fox (eurgh)
Pelupessy
Clare
Reach
Abdi
Nuhiu

That's my guess unless we have a miracle recovery.

Barley a drop of snow here, no chance it'll be off currently.

Since when is Lees back? Certainly hope Hunt is injured.

Brownhill at right back, against Reach? ...that won't end well.

Reach is playing more central.

Expected to snow your way tomorrow apparently, Lees played twice for u23s so may be risked.

Reach is playing more central.

Was always his best position for us, just off the striker.

If your wingbacks are Fox and Palmer then Bristol City probably could get away with playing midfielders at right back.

They've been playing Boyd LWB so I was expecting that battle, in which I think Brownhill would be fine. Brownhill's played a few at right back and is comfortable there, he's not the greatest defensively but fantastic going forwards.

Got to the point where I hope Wednesday win, if they don't obviously I wouldn't be too upset. Think an easy home win though is on the cards

A question for our Wednesday contingent after watching your game V Swansea last night.
What do you think of your new Manager / head coach because he gives the impression that he hasn't got the foggiest idea what he's doing?
You'll probably beat us at the weekend if it's on as we seem to blow hot and cold at the mo plus last weekend, we were pathetic!
If we can get any semblance of form back, the last game against your neighbours could be an absolute rip snorter!

It's hard to tell at present he's so hamstrung due to injuries (two more this week) and having to manage the squad due to that, players who have come in and done well like Clare and Thorniley keep having to drop out due to being cup tied so cannot find consistency.

Judging us last night is a tad unfair we had 18 players absent.

Must be right Aaron because he's gone through a bad run.

Brownhill and Paterson haven't been up to scratch lately either, was around this time last year that you were telling everyone they were shit and that they'd be the first two you bomb out in the summer wasn't it?

Fair comment Southey, I stand corrected. 18? Jeez!

Is it true you've only won once since our game?
Yeah, QPR I think when we were down to 10.

On a proper horrid run but have only just dropped out of the top six, says a lot about our competition. Wednesday and Burton up next, 6 points would see us nicely back on track but I wouldn't be surprised if we only managed 2.

Still in with a good shot of playoffs though, but yeah these next 2 games really should be 4/6 points for you.

Strange as at the beginning of the season and the end of last didn't you only lose about 3 in 30 or something? Just need some consistancy

It's the fine margins in this league. Bit of the old mental fragility has reappeared and the tight games we were winning late on earlier in the season we're losing late on now. It's the Sunderland and Leeds capitulations that are really killing us, win those as we should and it's a bit of dip but not all that bad; as it is it's a really poor run.

But things can turn around very quickly, still well capable of winning this. Play like we did against Fulham and we will comfortably

Aye, if play like against Villa we could win, play like against Swansea I expect a heavy defeat. I expect something in between.
Hopefully Clare will add some drive and attacking menace to our side otherwise another boring, sterile defeat.
Heads says 2-0 City
Heart says 1-3 Owls (inspired by young Clare)

It really just the 2 idiots on the left that lost City the Sunderland, Leeds & other games

I don't necessarily disagree about the left hand side charlie but we didn't lose the Sunderland and Leeds games although it felt like it.
By the way, I don't think this game has a cat in hell's chance of being on. The city has shut down essentially. No buses, barely any car movement and even delivery lorries can't get through plus we're expecting another dumping of snow.

SoutheySWFC are you coming tomorrow?

Club statement says the game is definitely on despite having the worst of the weather conditions in the country. Good stuff.

Despite the club sayings it’s on, I can’t see it. Fans do travel from outside of Bristol, like myself.. there’s no way I’ll be able to drive my car tomorrow morning as well as probably 90% of other’s I expect.
