Whish another broadcaster would get it they keep showing the same teams again and again. Would be fair if they had a policy where every team in the league gets shown at home at least once a season

Not even your own fans want to watch you, so why the f*** would anyone else?

Touch of sour grapes

Not at all. You just need to accept your utter irrelevance in the eyes of the wider viewing public.

You have none of the romance of established plucky non-League tinpotters like Woking or Barrow and none of the tabloid-worthy shenanigans of Gravesend’s crowdfunding or Sutton’s trampoline. You’re not a struggling ex-League car crash to rubberneck at like Torquay or Hartlepool, nor a club of significance which the casual fan has actually heard of like Tranmere or Orient. You’re not even in either the promotion, playoff or relegation battles. You’re a bankrolled nothing side with no fans who play in an athletics stadium whose record attendance is a friendly. You’re not even the biggest non league club in a one-team city FFS. And that’s why BT will never, ever, ever, show one of your home games unless an actual club like Wrexham comes to town needing three points for the title.

Ps. Best of luck in the Trophy semi x

Here it is in simple terms, for the hard of understanding: "You're a nothing club, with no fans and nobody cares about you".

You're welcome.

I dont care how big a team is, history, owners etc bt should play fair and show every team once. If gateshead were top of the league and crowds shot up they would still not acknowledge them. Southern bias. Sadly the conference is full of billy big bollock ex football league clubs who think they should not be in the league. Yous and other big clubs were relegated on the field simple as that not voted out. I remember when i lived in luton and they had same attitude. You need to research north east football and you will see why gatesheads crowds could be higher. The toon could have had bin laden as chairman yet the fans still flock and the views will be far worse than gateshead. As for non league the love is for south shields whos draw is a overweight ex premier league player and a chairman who looks like michael douglas

Proper club going for the title happened to be playing at your ground. Point proven.

I dont care how big a team is, history, owners etc bt should play fair and show every team once.

They’re a commercial entity. Their interest isn’t fair play, it’s profits via advertising revenues and subscriptions. They have a vested interest in showing games people want to see I.e. those involving well-supported clubs and/or matches of significance at either end of the table.

If gateshead were top of the league and crowds shot up they would still not acknowledge them. Southern bias.

Every single one of the games they’ve just announced involves at least one northern side. It’s just that they’re clubs of some remote significance, unlike Gateshead.

Sadly the conference is full of billy big bollock ex football league clubs who think they should not be in the league. Yous and other big clubs were relegated on the field simple as that not voted out.

You’re damn right I think we shouldn’t be in this league. We were relegated (twice) due to the off the field influence of our maniac owner gutting the club and using it as a front for money laundering. Nowt to do with ‘just being shite’ or whatever you think happened.

You need to research north east football and you will see why gatesheads crowds could be higher. The toon could have had bin laden as chairman yet the fans still flock and the views will be far worse than gateshead. So yes, you agree that you aren’t even the biggest non league club in Newcastle. And yet you are still blind as to why no-one has the slightest interest in watching you on t’telly. Baffling.

That's the reason BT are covering the league in case you aren't quite getting it. Seeing as there's only 5 proper clubs in the league and out of those we will be losing Torquay and possibly Hartlepool I'm surprised they've renewed for another 3 years. By then it might be full of tinpot bankrolled shite like Gateshead or Borehamwood on 500 gates.

Oh but we don't owe any money, we're a new club, remember? You seem to want to have your cake and eat it, glad to hear you're a Brexiteer, so at least you've got that right.. :bdick:

If Torquay are considered a proper club then so should we since we're about the same size as them with FL history both pre and post 92

There are only 3 PROPER clubs in this league. Leyton Orient, Tranmere Rovers and Hartlepool United. Although Hartlepool's status will be revoked if they are further relegated. Torquay had their status revoked under the 2 relegation rule and Wrexham under the residency (5+ years in NL) rule.

It's best that NLLers be the guardians of the RULES, to avoid bias

That’s the old Aldershot you’re talking about. Does not count, as stated in the Natural Order charter.

Listen to yourselves proper clubs. What about the farce at leyton orient last season fielding reserve squads constant sackings of managers. Is that not tinpot. So boreham wood may not have the biggest fan base but on my visit there i found the fans friendly, no we are too good for this league attitude. Nice facilities and have given a young manager a go instead of someone who goes from club to club gettong sacked constantly. I hope they go up as per every season i route for the clubs who have never been in league teo to get pronotion. Was over the moon for forest green, a fresh new club for league 2 for q change

ATFC have also been promoted to, and spent 5 years, in the football league. Does that not count?

He`s got you there Master D in fairness to him.

As for Gateshead never being on TV, maybe that has something to do with them having a 16 thousand sitter stadium with only 500 to 700 people in it. Our place is bad enough with crowds ten times that big and that`s without having a running track around the pitch. The total lack of atmosphere at the normal home game at the International Stadium is hardy condusive with good TV viewing is it with all due respect.

Also the reason Boreham Wood fans don`t have a "too good for this League attitude" ,GeneSimmons, is basically because they`re not. They must be the only club in this League who`s crowds are worse than yours and there is no sign of that improving whatsoever. They might have a "nice set up" and a good young manager but that does not hide the fact that the support to sustain a Football League club, or even a mid table VNL club for that matter, in that area is just not there. The whole idea of them being able to compete in the FL, with the FFP regulations in force, is, quite frankfully, laughable.

The funny thing is, there are about as many fans of 'smaller' clubs who have a chip on their shoulder about the 'bigger' clubs apparently having a chip on their shoulder.

I'm going to make it my mission that should we get promoted this year, that some of next year's budget is spent on helping you compose just one single understandable post.

Only 5 years puts you way, way down the proper club list I’m afraid. You need at least 50 years of League experience otherwise you’re an historical tinpotter.

I wondered why Borehamwood were disliked in this league as I enjoyed our game down there, but after Saturdays shananigans,I can see why.
A bunch of cheating.moaning, diving twats. They are one team I certainly wouldn't want to get promotion.

I'm not sure that's even the reason for most!
