C'mon, the only sensible forecast in this clash of 'struggling sides' is a draw. Burnley's star shone brightly early season, but quickly faded. Everton have been crap pretty much all season, with a few notable highs (that Merseyside derby, talk about daylight robbery! ).
Still, I'm just going with gut instinct to give the home side the edge.

He is well past it at this point, but he used to be an excellent defender. I'm amazed he still starts regularly for Everton when they've got Rooney on the bench. I'm sure he could do a job at centre back.

Poor from Pickford for Burnley's equaliser. As good as Lowton's ball is, he should be coming out of his goal and clearing that up. No way Barnes should be allowed that much time and space to run in behind Keane.

He's a decent shotstopper and definitely England's best, and I agree he should be their number 1 at the World Cup; but he's not anything amazing.

I watched most of this on the train to KX, I am slightly surprised by the hostile reaction of the Everton fans, did they seriously think this game was a gimme? Based on what? Everton should be better than they are when you look at the players that they have but they have under performed all season so suck it up Toffees fans, the mission this season was to avoid relegation after a disastrous start. BFS was hired to do that, not to develop the team into serious contenders. He has never done that in his career, he isn't about to start it now, he is a survival specialist. Should have done what West Ham have done and hired him to the end of the season, now you'll have to compensate him when you sack him.
Great win for Burnley, safe from relegation, mid table is the worst thing that can happen to them between now and the end of the season.

That's exactly what they did. He is on an 18 month contract, so the compensation in the summer when they replace him will be minimal. From Everton's perspective, the plan was always to have him until the end of the season, but he refused to take the job on anything less than an 18 month deal.
