He's better than that JJH. He looked a real prospect at Barnlsey. Maybe I'm being unfair but we've been pretty lopsided since he's been with us.
Com back COD FFS!

Thought Kent was one of our better players? Let's talk about Bryan? Patterson? Even Brownhill? They were all poor.

Definite penalty, not sure how the ref missed that however, overall I thought we pretty much contained you guys and the 1-0 win will do us fine. I kind of expected more attacking from yourselves, perhaps it is the away mentality of making sure you don't lose, rather then the alternative?

Brownhill? I thought he was class last night.

I’ve said this for a while but we haven’t got that cutting edge in the final third. Other teams around us have the likes of Clarke, Vydra, Hoilett, Snodgrass, Hogan etc.

We didn’t go big in January, I just wonder if that will cost us. It’s all a bit powderpuff at the minute!

Kent was good last night. Was slso very good last week. Odd he's being dug out like he is.

Though he was one of the many, many guilty parties of bottling 50/50 tackles. Paterson, Bryan, Wright, Brownhill also guilty.

He's not mate, he's deceptive. He looks good with the stepovers and the direct running but nowt ever comes of it.

Really? I thought he had one of his worst games for us in a long while, he slowed everything down.

Thought Kent looked very style over substance last night. I imagine when it comes off he'll be a threat but his ball retention was very poor.

Would still have him at Leeds mind

Why is Kent getting singled out to being slagged off after that? Only 3 players came out with any credit last night.. Reid, brownhill and Smith. Everyone else was below par, and Kent wasn’t as bad as what some like to make out. Pato was worse.

Did Kent actually manage to pass to anyone in a red shirt last night? All he seemed to do was cut inside and lose the ball.
I agree most were poor but he's a new player so I thought it worth discussing. Having all the pace and skill in the world is useless if you lose the ball every time you have it. Pato looks shot tbh.

Yes he did, more than the vast majority of players on the pitch last night. Not his fault that he was the only one offering any kind of movement for large parts of the game.

I didn't see it that way WTGR Aaron as it appeared to me that he was cutting inside then losing the ball virtually every time he had it. The team performance was woeful and our movement terrible so I am certainly not singling him out for crticism as they were, pretty much, all poor.
With them playing wing backs, 3 centre and 2 holding midfielders, we should have been hugging the lines but played right into their hand by trying to go through the middle.
A very frustrating watch TBH.

Every club has at least one player who can do zero right in the eyes of some fans.

For what it's worth, I thought Kent was one of the better Bristol City players last night. Not that there was much competition, I thought City as a whole were pretty poor. Reid chased a lot in vain but never got a huge amount of support from Diedhiou or the midfield (including Kent, yes) so was feeding on scraps. He should've had a penalty early on which was one of the more bizarre decisions I've seen for a while, but that call seemed to knock City back and they never really imposed on the game from then on in. As said in several quarters, Ameobi was very, very good last night so it was only right that he scored the winner.

Shocking game that, luckily I was pretty pissed, Bristol City were pretty awful, Bolton not much better.
