Have to disagree with you all on that red, he slides in and plays and wins the ball so not a red for me.

You can't slide in and win the ball (which is subjective) with two feet up. Especially in front of a ref who had sent off three in three with 17 yellows.

At best, it's terminally brainless.

That's a red for me. He doesn't look as though he pulls out of the challenge if you pause the video.

Winning the ball is irrelevant in a ref's decision to award a red card.

The bottom of his studs got the ball but he went over the top of it, out of control and caught Kibbs shin height. Leg breaker so definitely the right decision.

How is Knoyle getting on?

I'm pretty happy with his replacement Hunt who looks decent but I have to say I still would have liked Knoyle to have stayed.

Knoyle has been the player we all thought we had signed. Excellent defensively and good going forward. Unfortunately he went off against Newport a few weeks ago with a suspected dislocated shoulder.

Sounds like it won’t need an operation and he will be back in a few weeks.
