We've got Coventry away; we'll win 2-1 in front of less than 5k.

Reading away, we'll lose probably. Looking forward to a new ground though.

Playing Donny at home, we've done shite in the cups since our FA Cup run in 14/15. And lost in the first round of both the League and FA Cup to Accrington last season. So I'm ready for a couple of victories and hopefully a decent tie.

2-0 City.

Blackpool at home. We'll lose as I don't think Blackpool have a big enough squad to rest that many players whereas Cook has already admitted that he'll be playing the kids.

Brentford at home - the first home match in that competition for seven years. All depends on whether they take it seriously - I'd just like to make round two for the first time in our recent history.

I still have nightmares about Wimbledon losing to Peterborough in the Rumbelows* Cup back in the day during Peter Withe's very short tenure.

They should have just given Bradford a bye we are literally that bad in cup games.

Away at Exeter, always nice to have bit of a cup run but I'm not that bothered and doesn't seem Robinson is either, he's already said he'll be making 11 changes and sod any fine that might be imposed.

We're away at Cardiff. We have a chance as Kenny Jackett seems to like a cup run and may put out a strong team. Don't know what sort of team Cardiff are going with.

Home to Newport. Chance we could actually make the second round for the first time in a few years.

I'd like to see us field a fairly strong team against Cardiff, but I'm expecting the likes of Pitman, Chaplin and Baker to be rested to give others a chance to prove themselves. It'd be nice to have something of a cup run!

Full expecting defeat away at Reading 2 or 3 nil but I care not one iota, Bradford at home on Saturday is of far more interest and importance.

I'd like to think we have enough to beat Barnet at home, even though the majority of players that start will be fringe players.

Away to Forest Green in the most eagerly anticipated game of the round...

We are apparently taking the competition seriously, so I'd expect a strong side and a narrow win because we don't like making things easy for ourselves

Sunderland at home fully expect a completely different 11 to what played v Walsall on Saturday. We have Wigan away on Sunday. So I expect a Sunderland win. Though if by chance we do field our 1st xi then we can win.

We won't make many changes at all. For one we're on the telly and two we don't have enough players to make 11 changes.

Harry Bunn will hopefully be included somewhere and I'd like Zeli to start too.

6th year in the Football League and yet to win a game in this cup competition. Maybe this time, Carlisle at home...maybe.

Think there's about 1800 green army making what's expected to be our shortest competitive trip of the season to Ashton Gate. Only 240 odd miles round trip.

Well it gives us a decent chance of progressing I guess, but it does make a mockery of the whole competition. When I was growing up in the 90s it was a really good tournament but now it's no more than an annoyance.

Expect we will make a 4-5 changes also, so god knows on the final outcome. Wouldn't be surprised if this went to extra time.

Pompey v Cardiff tonight. Manager has come out saying that there won't really be any changes to the team other than our injured LB. Should be a good game!

Wouldn't be surprised if Robinson is bluffing to be honest, he's had some good results in this competition in the past with Mk Dons and looking at our squad I don't know how he's going to make 11 changes.

I think more likely 6-7 changes but should still be a decent enough side with the likes of Phillips, Konsa, Crofts, Reeves and Watt starting.

Looking forward to the Carlisle game tonight, hope they bring a few down and they can see their old boy Dempsey. Both managers will enjoy having played together at Man City so plenty of rivalry, think Cods can just about shade it but never any easy games whatever cup competition is being played

We haven't had a cup run in years and with promotion looking miles away right now it would be nice to progress, we'll have to see what Warne does tonight. It hasn't stopped raining all day and Lincoln are set to be bringing in excess of 1,300, so if nothing else it'll at least be interesting tonight.

True to his word, Robinson has made 11 changes and only 2 of Saturday's starters have even travelled.

The likes of Jackson, Reeves, Watt, Konsa, Aribo are starting along with a few of the highly rated youngsters coming through.

Still fancy us to win.

Only 2 players from Saturday starting for us (Argyle), but strangely the lineup doesn't actually look any weaker if at all which says something about our squad, either that or both teams are crap
