Sheffield United finally get to hand us the hammering they have owed us for a long time.

Last 11 meetings.

Walsall 5 wins
Draws 5
Sufc wins 1

It's safe to say we don't like playing you, we lost 3 games in the league last season after august and 2 of them were you as well as a cup game too.

2-1 down at half time. It could be worse, we could be Plymouth.

Still not won a League Cup game under McCall, naive of me to think we would. TBF we made five changes from the weekend and had a man sent off, according to some of our fans we're fucked even though we lost to Accrington last season:ffs:.

Time to make fans take an IQ test before they get a season ticket or use social media, me thinks.

sounded like we defended fairly well but Cardiff fully deserved to win. took them to extra time. Luke Mgee sounds like an incredible keeper. Gonna be worth a small fortune soon

Fairly exciting match for us tonight against Lincoln. They were very well supported and did themselves credit, home crowd were really not bothered tonight and it had a strange preseason feel to it. Cracking first goal from Proctor, Emmanuel and Newell looked good (no one was particularly poor- silly mistake between Ajayi and O'Donnell for their goal aside) and it's nice to progress. Hopefully this increases morale and we can get a bit of league form going.

A pretty dull 2-0 defeat to Reading. Quite glad it didn't go to extra time as I was starting to fall asleep watching Reading pass it from side to side along the back 4 before a hoof upfield. Game was won by a quality strike out of nowhere from range really, nothing really changed after the goal in terms of the setup of the game, they just went back to passing between the defence/keeper. Second goal came after O'Neill got crocked (stood on possibly) and was really struggling. More or less nothing else of note happened, although we had as many chances as they did.

Is all the Championship like that?

Mighty Iron. Super Iron. Another resounding home draw. This time 3-3 versus Notts who started their season poorly. Sneaked through on penalties in the end. Exciting season ahead for us, trying to stay up!

Lost to QPR 1-0, was a much better performance than our opening league game, hopefully carry that into Fleetwood on Saturday.

Fair play to Carlisle on last night's win, much the better team in the 1st half. Fleetwood picked up when we brought on McAleny and Dempsey in the second and when we equalised expected us to go and and win the game. In extra time they scored a crackin header from a corner, Cods had a man sent off and never looked like scoring
Wish the Cumbrians a good draw in the next round, on this display you'll be back in league 1 next year !

Very happy with the win, 8 first team players missing and 16 chances created with the majority on target. We need to start converting more of them. In respect to defending I've come to terms with the fact Fergie is hell bent on the we will score 1 more than you vindaloo philosophy
