First league game at home for us, 22k tickets gone with 4k+ travelling down from Birmingham means it'll be a boring 0-0! Looking forward to seeing how Zohore gets on against Terry, will be the best centre half he's come against so far.

    I'll go 1-1, Mendez-Laing scoring for us.

Should be a close game, can't see many goals in this one. 1-0 either way.

Think Cardiff will have a decent season.

I agree with the 1-1. We won't concede many, but won't be scoring many until Kodjia's back either.

What happens when you sell one half of one the best CB partnerships and replace him with a 36 year old has been.

3-0 flattered Villa big time, could and should have been 8-0. Taylor, Chester and Hutton were dire, The keeper kept it respectable with some good saves.

As for us fucking hell, Mendez-Laing, Hoilett and Damour were a cut above. Zohore was sub-par missing easy one on ones he was burying last season. Midfield battle was an easy one in our favour for a change. Think Warnock out thought Bruce in this one with the way we set up. 2 wins from 2, no goals conceded and Warnocks old boys next up. Can't wait.

Well, that didn't quite go to plan for us did it? Sounds like we were terrible, no bite what so ever. Why Gabby is still in the starting XI is baffling. Yes he scored against Hull but he didn't do much else in that game. Think he can have some impact from the bench but not as a starter. Kodjia can't come back quick enough.

Fair play to Cardiff though. As I said above I think they will have a good season and surprise a few teams.

If we continue like this Bruce is in serious trouble.

Bruce has about 5 games to save his job imo, Tony won't wait around this season.

 and bring in who? Problem at Villa lies deeper than the manager clearly.

I'm not advocating his sacking, and fuck knows who we'd turn to, but that is the reality of it, Tony will be VERY impatient this season. :dk:
