First round qualification draw has been made today, only British representies are Welsh side TNS who host San Marino side Tre Penne. No idea how that will go but you'd like to think TNS will have a good chance of winning it.

First Round Qualification Draw
Flora Tallinn (EST) v Lincoln (GIB)
The New Saints (WAL) v Tre Penne (SMR)
Valletta (MLT) v B36 Tórshavn (FRO)
Santa Coloma (AND) v Alashkert (ARM)

TNS win the first leg of their 1st qualifying round tie with Tre Penne at home tonight 2-1. Next leg in San Marino next week, they would have probably preferred a bigger lead to be honest.

TNS make light work of Tre Penne and record a 3-0 victory over in San Marino, far more comfortable than the first leg. I think they will face APOEL in the next qualifying round which is a massive ask for them, considering APOEL have made the group stages in recent years.

So Celtic have a trip to Gibraltar in the second qualifying round, would expect them to win but you never know.

Wow what a fantastic result that is for the Lincoln Red Imps, however that is shocking from Celtic's point of view and the worst possible start for Brendan Rodgers. Still expect them to turn it around in the second leg comfortably with home advantage, but credit to the minnows from Gibraltar probably the greatest win in their history. TNS have also held Apoel to a goalless draw in Wales which is a good effort from them, can't see them getting anything over in Cypress but they can take pride in that tonight.

Other notable teams playing, Polish side Legia Warsaw drew 1-1 in their away tie at Zrinjki Mostar, Dinamo Tbilisi won 2-0 against Alashkert, Bate Borisov beat SJK 2-0 at home, and Red Star Belgrade won 2-1 away at Valletta FC.

Two British sides in action in their 2nd legs tonight, TNS were beaten 3-0 away in Cyrpus after a great 1-1 draw in the first leg, while Crusaders were hammered 6-0 by Copenhagen which meant a 9-0 aggregate defeat against the Danes. Other notable sides progressing to the 3rd qualifying round are Legia Warsaw, Dinamo Tbilsi, Red Star Belgrade and BATE Borsiov. Celtic look to overturn their 1-0 defeat last week against Lincoln Red Imps tomorrow night.

Celtic ended up crusing past Lincoln Red Imps in the end with a 3-0 win at Celtic Park tonight, goals from Lustig, Griffiths and Roberts. They go onto face Astana of Kazakhstan in the 3rd round so a bit of a potential banana skin there. Rosenborg also through tonight.

What an effort from Dundalk of Ireland to sneak through on away goals after a 2-2 draw in Iceland tonight against Hafnarfjordur.

Tough ask in the next round against BATE but they had done really well.

Enjoyed it mate was a really nice evening and Alfreton fans were all great with us, thought the game was a little boring from our perspective but it was expected for a first friendly game. Would definitely come back next season!

3rd qualifying first legs been played tonight with Dundalk being the only home nation involvement, they were beaten 1-0 in Belarus against BATE Borisov so still very much in with a chance. Quite a few big teams competing now as it's the business end of qualification, Ajax held to a 1-1 draw with PAOK at home, Dinamo Zagreb beat Dinamo Minsk 2-0 in Croatia, while Shaktar Donetsk beat Young Boys 2-0 also.

Celtic grabbed a solid 1-1 in Cyprus.

Monaco away to Fenerbahce later this evening. Should be good fun.

Not a bad result that for Celtic, tough place to go with the time difference being a ball ache too. I expect they'll have more than enough at home but Astana are definitely not to be underestimated.

Great to see Salzburg not (yet) humiliating themselves again. I know, people don't like them because they're just an "artificial construct" without traditions. Still, they're the best Austrian football ever offered. I hope they'll eventually make it to the group stage this year, but I doubt it.
