City take the lead. Monaco look pretty dangerous though. It could get interesting, I fancy them to get a goal.

Imagine thinking that the Bundesliga is any good outside of Bayern.

Serie A and Ligue 1 > Bundesliga any day.

City fans think they've been hard done by, but they are wrong.

What is happening here, plenty of chances, missed pens lots of goals and howlers and actual noise at the City ground? Am I dreaming?

Sterling doing one of his half dozen dives per game tut tut.

Aguero grabbing another. Classic.

One of the classic CL games ever?

It's becoming that particularly if there's a late twist.

And there it is, Stones atoning for one of his several errors.

4-3 would still be an awful result for City.

This is why people who say they prefer a strong defensive game are liars.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

Still think City need to be on their guard in the second leg. This is far from over.

Better to have a 2-0 lead than not... Cracking match and puts City on the front foot. Some great work from Sterling and Aguero is clearly finished...

Monaco conceded 2 goals from corners. You just can't do that at this level. City should have lost it had Jardim closed the game when 3-2 up. Scoring 3 goals away from home usually means progress to the next round but not this time. Monaco will most probably play 442 in the 2nd leg which will play right into City's hands.
I enjoyed that game until the horrible defending. Really pissed off now.

Understandable. On the other side, what a match. Compliments to Monaco. Now I've seen the Monaco Offense in all its glory (they haven't shown it in the group stages ) . Very talented young players and I'll think many of them will play soon in England or Spain.
Interesting how many penalties are failing lately. Last weekend in the Bundesliga 3 of 5 failed and now Falcao.

I predicted a 2-0 here days ago. So the +2 goal difference was right. But a 2-0 would be better for City than a 5-3. This 2nd leg will be exciting.

Leverkusen today with too many defense errors which were costly but this is nothing new. Atletico is a pain in the arse for German clubs for years now.

For tomorrows match I predicted a 2-0 for Sevilla against Leicester here and no reason to change this now. And then it's Porto vs Juve. For Gigi Buffon and Sami Khedira I want that they'll advance (the only Itallian club I can stand)

The Mbappe lad is better than Henry was at 18 according to a few French journalists and City themselves had a €40m bid rejected by Monaco for him; but he'll move soon for ridiculous money if he keeps this up.

Why can't players take penalties any more?

1 - 0 now after that missed penalty, not looking good for Leicester.

Remember the good old days when Leicester conceded possession as a tactic?

2-0. Leicester have been better in the second half, but still haven't really had a chance. Sevilla go down the other end and score.

Didn't see that happening when the penalty was given, or when the first goal went in, or at half time... or when the second hit back of the net...

Game on then. :dk:
