Liked calling people c*** and telling them to fuck off and die but couldn't take it off other people...

Not reyt sure why that would actually bother anyone on a forum though, it's clearly just harmless ain't it

Nah, he can be a prick, but he's harmless enough. Some overly sensitive people on here.

It's a tricky one.

Initially I thought walkley (and to a much lesser degree Blademan) were rude and had school yard bully syndrome. However after a while I realised that they are both decent people, excellent/ knowledgable contributors and can be quite opinionated and funny.

The problem is new posters wouldn't know this and might feel unwelcome and end up not posting or leaving the forum. I would have expect posters that sail close to the wind to initially receive warnings asking them to modify their behaviour. Some forums have a yellow card system.

It's a shame really. I know how he rolls so would welcome him back (even if he is a Wednesday fan).

Intrigued to see how many we take to Leeds, i'd probably be a bit disappointed if its respectable, but most people going will take train travel into account and compare it to what they would pay for a trip down south. We took 800-850 at similar prices last year, hard to say whether this year's number will be more or less.

It would have been nice for the club to announce some sort of 'fuck you' but they will be thinking about the full away end when we play Leeds in the reverse fixture.

Maybe I'm not a true (sheep type) supporter but for me surely there's a

"Price charged v entertainment received" factor

If a club charged £10 then I'd be aware I've not paid much and be understanding if performances/ entertainment was poor. I'd class entertainment as a bonus.

However if a club charged £40 I'd DEMAND high entertainment and if the team played poorly I'd be well and truely pi$$ed off and feel like I'd been cheated. I'd want some sort of revenge (to make me feel better) and not go to the next match. Basically I refuse to be taken as a mug (except for really special situations).

It's economics and unless fans show their disapproval of high pricing by boycotting some matches, then those clubs will keep increasing prices.

I went last season cos it was only £25 for me but I ain't gonna pay £39, not really on any sort of principle, just can't afford it at the moment. Will go to Derby and Accrington for price of Leeds away.

It'll sell out I think but probably only a few days before the game as was the case in 15/16 - WMP wouldn't like us having more and we'd never get pay on the gate there.
Sold 1,494 from 2,698. Ticket sales look to have slowed down, only sold around 50 more today.

Only 50 odd left of the 2393 Sheff United allocated us so it's not looking like they'll make general sale. Bagged a couple of freebies in the home end so in with the Blades it is.
