It can be misleading at the early stages. We have sold out every away game bar Hull so far yet we're 8th in that table. Mainly because we've played teams like Brentford and Burton who give hardly anything for away allocations.

I agree, ours will only go down from here, other than Barnsley we have had all our 3k plus followings.
Next 2 matches at Derby and Villa for example, both will easily sell out but both will bring our average away support down.
We also have Ipswich, Norwich and Millwall to come all either on Tv or midweek games.
Until the end of the season these figures are interesting but don't give a genuine reflection of support overall.
Leeds will top it Villa 2nd, anyone of us, you, Boro or even Sunderland 3rd.
Sheff Utd will probably end up around 2.5k and a few others could also average over 2k, all good going for 2nd flight clubs.

Derby is 3,153 allocation so won't make much difference.
Sunderland, Bristol City, QPR and Reading are 3K+ allocations if needed.

I know, but other than Bristol and Reading (which I doubt we will sell out) and obviously Barnsley, nearly all the other allocations are smaller than what we are currently averaging.
By the end of season I would be very surprised if our average is over 3k, whereas other teams, Wolves and Blades for example, their average will go up.
That's why I'm stating the figures are currently misleading, not knocking our away support or numbers, just saying it's currently the highest it will be all season,

Away fans now housed in the north bank top tier at Wolves rather than the lower tier of the side stand.

It's been confirmed this morning that's not the case at Nuno's request.

Yeah, we trialed it against Barnsley, and giving them the allocation in the top corner of the North Bank is supposed to give us an advantage (away fans out of the way). As villa loyal said though it will only be for clubs who don't sell their allocation, Villa, B'ham, Leeds etc will still get the Steve Bull lower.

Was this just bullshit then lads? We're still in the fucking shite lower tier at the side.

Only the restricted view seats left for qpr at a reduced price of £31 for a week on tuesday, allocation was just under 1700 on the upper tier so looks as though that will probably sell out. Only restricted view seats left for Leeds to at a reduced price of £37 for next Friday, we got sent them after the initial allocation I think so about 2800 altogether there.

Great following. We're in London the same night, Fulham away we've sold 1,150 so far.

Seeing those prices at QPR :ffs:

£33/£31 gold
£28/£26 silver

1200 of the 1700 are gold prices, I'm presuming you just have set prices every game , it's appauling for a midweek game. But yet again it looks as though they are all gonna be sold. Last train back to sheff is 22.25 and QPR is probably the only one I'd be confident of seeing the end and making the train on time. £20 return it was anyway so happy days

We've got Fulham on a Tuesday night too.
You will probably take more than us given you haven't played for them for a few years, depends when it is though. We may get near 2k, depends how results go from now until then.

We've played them twice there in cup competitions within the last 4 years , it's not till next year anyway. All depends how were doing

We don't have a grading thing, we just have sections of the ground. Away fans get charged the same as the opposite end of the ground so they are ripping us off as well.

You can go and watch Fulham and Brentford for less so no wonder our future fanbase will be less than theirs. If you were just getting your kid into footy and you had no allegiances you would go with those as they are cheaper.

For a Saturday 3pm kick off they should sell more than that. Even we would. Maybe.

1,800 sold for wolves tomorrow, hopefully hit 2k by close of play.

Thought we would sell out to be honest, we took about 3,500 in League One when we were both doing well but i suppose Fulham & Wolves on consecutive Saturdays is hard on the pocket.

Reading have sold 1100 for tommorrow, offering free coach travel but still that's pretty decent for them.

No surprise there. I'd imagine you could sell 6k no problem.
As could a lot of clubs in this division at Villa, we sold out midweek over a month before the game last season but only took 1,900 to Blues on a Saturday this season.
