Before any one alive was born, 1 trophy between us since 1936. We've not won fuck all since 1925, our city made the game so obviously we were both good back then, unreal support for how shit we both have been in a lifetime. Villa have Won leagues, cups , European cups , live in a city twice the size and get 3k more in there first stint here as an example

Good points.

It’s all relative I suppose.
Always used to think Leeds had poor-ish home support numbers wise, although the recent high prices don’t help matters.
A city (including the outskirts) slightly bigger than Sheffield, much more success than Sheffield in living memory.
I would expect Leeds United to attract a 50K demand in the 2nd tier (like Sheffield and Newcastle).

However of course the Leeds away numbers have always been impressive
and more importantly the passion and vocal support is always amongst the best home and away.

Thats a very good following from Fulham, free travel or not.

Brilliant numbers by them to be fair.

We have just been give 4k for our midday kick off against Fulham, £30. Looking forward to the epic mission to get there. Love a proper away day of having to travel a million miles to get there and listen to the locals speak differently.

472 at Ipswich for a 5:30 kick off was the lowest following I've been in, November 2009.

A few other low ones were Swansea and Ipswich again.

3,152 Leeds
1,683 Fulham (less than 20k home fans for a top six clash)
371 Cardiff

I was at the Ipswich game, made a weekend of it, drew 0-0 and it was live on tv.

Leeds sold out Boro 2700 and Reading 4000, been offered 3600 at Fulham with the chance of an extra 1000 a big ask selling that out on a Tuesday night with the form we are in.

You'll take more to Fulham than we do, and we are playing on a Saturday (albeit midday).

800 now sold for Swansea, we might just scrape past 1,000.

Should be an interesting journey looking at weather forecast.

I appreciate it's a big game for both teams but I think that's a decent effort for a 200 mile round trip when we've won once in 18 games. Setting off myself soon.

What've you sold? Think we've generally taken around 4-5k the last few years, think we got 6k on our first game back against them there.

You can tell how posh they are by their "celebrity" supporters...Hugh Grant, that geezer off The Chase (I think?) and then we've got Dean Gaffney

Sheffield Uniteds support is so fair weather, small club with a small mentality,. Sharp, Clarke, Duffy and Lundstram are traitors

Were Villa the first team to take the lower tier of the Leppings Lane this season or did Leeds do it as well?
