You always get some, cowards doing stupid things, but on the whole the atmosphere between both sets of fans was good, we had a pint with a few in the premier inn next to Wembley way after the match, then had a good laugh with a few young ones on the tube back to kings cross.
Yeah the night and day went off ok overall . When you’ve got the best part of 40k fans pissed up you will always have incidents.

Completely off topic but can’t even begin to imagine what the state of the international football forum must be like on here....

Just realised England have at least 2 games at Wembley for the next euros. Load of shit that, was hoping to do 3 different european cities.

I was born at a shit time. Last WC was my first one where I could drink and every fucker bottled it, next tournament it’s over here mainly for us and then the one after is Qatar.... is alcohol even legal over there ffs?

Doubt I’ll get a ticket for Wembley so if anyone’s got any tips for sneaking into a ground and without ending up in a coma like that Birmingham fan did the other week give me a PM.

Join the England supporters travel club now, it will cost you £75, that will almost certainly guarantee you tickets for games at Wembley in the euros. Qatar will be wank, usa, canada and mexico in 2026 that will be spot on and the euros in 2024 is in Germany.

I’ve been looking at doing this, it says that should demand exceed ticket allocation, then they’ll be a ballot with priority given to those with more caps. Do you know how many people are currently part of the travel club? I don’t want to fork out the cash without being certain that I’ll get a ticket for most of the games we play at Wembley.

Well they've sold 8k through the travel club for this nations league so will be hardly many more than that. For the games in Russia only 1k and 2k were buying them. Obviously demand will be bigger for the euros and I'm not sure how many tickets will be allocated to the travel club, you can join the England supporters club for free which basically guarantees you tickets for all England home games but I'm not sure if that will be the case in the euros, if you go to some home games from now, that should help you're cause,it will be fairly easy to get tickets at Wembley anyway straight through uefa, tickets for the euros are easy to come by compared to world cups.

Thanks for that. Yeah I’m already a supporters club member but it says you have to join the travel club to get priority for Euros tickets. I think it’ll be a domino effect where as the tournament gets closer, they’ll be a big scrum for tickets as casual football fans who don’t go to England games hop on the bandwagon (like myself). Hence why I’m trying to sort myself out early.

I was surprised at Nations League tickets still being available only a week or so ago. I checked on the UEFA website and could have easily got them for the semi final at decent prices. Was tempted but passed as I’m a boring fu**er whose trying to save money rather than spend it.

Yep cat 3 restricted view were available for 25 euros a few days ago. I'm not sure you would get one thinking about it through the travel club unless you go to some from now. The allocation will probably be about 12k I reckon at Wembley for each team but then obviously the home team has more tickets going on sale to locals but not sure that will be the travel club.

Will you do the games at Wembley?

After my last England game there about 5/6 years back I said I'd never do it again but I'm very tempted for the Euros....

Yes, I'll do them all in a tournament, wouldn't bother for owt else at Wembley though no more, maybe a decent game if it was a weekend I'd consider but my days of gonna Wembley midweek to watch us play Slovenia and Estonia are long gone.

Not done a Wembley England game for a good few years now. Luckily I have a few friends in London who don’t mind turning out for them so I buy them on my membership for the caps but send the tickets down to them.

I did see something about the FA doing spot checks at turnstiles to make sure membership cards match up to the tickets. Can’t see that happening though.

They shouldn’t use Wembley for 90% of the games anyway. Play them around the country but have the big ‘must win’ games at Wembley.

Looking forward to the Euros next summer. Will turn out for those.

Fiddling about with my Euros ticket application. Quick question for anyone applying. If Scotland doesn’t qualify, do England play all three group games at Wembley, or just the two and one at Hampden? Basically trying to figure out the best way to applying for as little as possible whilst giving me the best chance of getting England. Got nightmares about paying massive bucks for Poland v Russia at Wembley whilst England are playing in Scotland on the same day.

Aye if we win the group, Copenhagen and St Petersburg if 2nd.

I applied for Hampden tickets for two of the three matchdays under the impression that England had to play one game there no matter what. I’ll get rid of them and take my chances on Scotland failing again if we actually play all three at Wembley should they not make it.

Might come and buy you a beer when you’re at Palace depending on where we are. Protect you from the Holmesdale Fanatics and that.

Barnsley at home on 1st Feb, fuck that. See you at London Bridge. blademan89

Just so you’re not left out, I’ll get you half a cider if we come up.

Going to have to get your own cider I think. Two shit dates. JJH

Yes, 9th November, was only bothered about west ham cos got a load of pals who watch them who I've met from England football/cricket away. West ham, spurs, Brighton are the 3 new grounds but Brighton is 21st December so good chance I'll be on holiday.
