926 derby at ipswich. £12 tickets, alright numbers, woeful noise
The way we played no wonder there was no fucking noise, we were awful, hope we improve else we can kiss the play offs goodbye like Villa.

5 blokes attacking a guy on his own?

Tight that.
He wasn’t on his own in fairness, he had a mate with him but he didn’t get up when they scored. Half the block waded in on him, nothing less than you deserve if you’re gonna go in the home end and get up when we score.

I remember when a few City fans got up away at Palace and got battered, nothing less than they deserved really.

Oh well 2 of em against half a block that's reasonable then.

In fairness it's a strange one, when the away end has sold out I've sat in home ends a few times and cheered, also stood in home ends and somehow managed to keep quiet. (It is more difficult than you think).
I've also been pissed off away fans have celebrated at Hillsborough in the home ends, but not enough to assault them (different if they're gobbling off).
Guess if you're going in opponents home ends you need to gauge where you're sat and the likely reaction if you were to celebrate if you score. Ie family stand at Ipswich ok, anywhere at Millwall not so clever.

Yeah that's entirely fair, but wherever you do it if you get a whack you can't say that you weren't asking for it.

Hearing Leeds may get a reduced allocation at Bristol City in a few weeks time. Any Bristolians heard locally?

Wolves’ allocation been capped at 2,700 for Saturday also. Sales comfortably over 20k for that one, club are “hoping” for 25k with walkups... good luck.

Edit — well, our fans think they’ve got 3,600, theirs 2,700. Sold out either way.

Stop mentioning it then, looks remarkably like bragging to my untrained eye.
Tbf it is quite impressive especially considering the last 2 years football we have watched and the fact that both Leeds and Villa have dipped below 1k (I'm guessing only once for both Villa v Geordies, where was Leeds?)
Had 1700+ at Newcastle for a Monday night televised game. Dead rubber game for us. The Norwich game is where we went below 1k although not sure how accurate. It came from our police twitter which is rarely accurate. Club stated we had 1100+ so fuck knows.

Midweek in March, 15th for the third season running, with a complete c*** of an owner, a fucking clown for a manager and some of the most yellow bellied shithouse c*** to ever pull on the shirt?
Nothing confusing at all about it.

Bristol away there will be plenty in the home ends.

Not so clever that. Although I’ve heard it all before...

We don't take them over in a violent way but I personally know many across this season and other season that have been and will be in the home ends - not ones and twos but lots. When you have the legacy support network across the UK like Leeds it's easy. There will be plenty in AG too, the buying criteria is not robust.

What is the point in going in the home end to sit in silence and not move when you score, how can anyone control their emotions for example with a last minute winner, it would be impossible, stop talking shit you stupid fucking Leeds bellends.

They say it every year at ours as well, it’s bollocks. If they had as many as they claimed in our ends there would be a few that would lose their shit when they score.

Biggest set of mongs in the country that fanbase, it amazes me as a collective that they all believe this shit as I’ve never come across a sensible Leeds fan that has actually said they’re talking shit.

To be fair, they can get away with it at some grounds, last time it happened at ours was years ago, and it was only a couple of lads that were dealt with pretty quickly. They get quite a number of tickets at some grounds, so they don't need to be in the home ends most of the time

Never really seen any away fans make themselves known in the home ends at Deepdale.

There were loads of pockets Utd fans dotted around the ground in 2015 - but they never celebrated their goals.
You could tell they were Utd, because when we scored, they just stood up, emotionless, not clapping etc.
Probably just Preston based Utd fan benders.

Best I've seen in modern (ish) times...was Man City at Ewood park in 2000. When they got promoted.

Thousands and thousands in the home ends. Hanging and dropping from the top tier all over the ground, to get on the pitch with the rest of the City fans.

Only United and Liverpool have more fans scattered around the country.

Doesn't surprise me, I know at least three Preston-born West Ham fans too.

Obviously a legacy of when they were class in the 60's and its just passed through the family.

We have everything.

Apart from the obvious ones, I know Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Celtic, Newcastle and Villa fans who were born and bred in Preston.
