Decided against creating a thread every time we do something daft but think it deserve its own thread for everyone to laugh at us after todays installment.

To recap this week..

- Tuesday - launch a kit that can't be used in the Conference - 500 units gone to waste & currently we have no away kit
- Thursday - release 3 players with almost 800 appearences for the club - oe of which was informed by text by his mate as nobody from the club had botered to tell him

And today

Chesterfield have been charged for misconduct relating to financial irregularities.

It is alleged that in allowing an external organisation, namely the CFC Football Development School Ltd, to pay the wages of former players Jake Orrell and Myles Wright whilst not fully recording the payments on its accounting records, the club breached FA Rule C1.

Chesterfield have until 17 May 2018 to respond to the charge.
This one related to illegal 3rd party payments related to a development school that directors and our CEO were involved in that ended up being liquidated owning thousands and thousands of pounds to all and sundry.

This one may rumble on as there is other investigations ongoing regards falsifying transfers documents of players.

We are the biggest basket case going and it isnt getting any better. I reckon we must be on 25+ of these embarrassing incidents of us breaking laws, rules or just being damn right stupid.

The fake competition winner was the funniest.

On a serious note though, all this is so sad to see. Hope you bounce straight back, but can’t see it happening unfortunately.

There is far worse going on but that was downright fraud, dread to think what skeletons are lying in closets around the ground.

Could get a points deduction for this one which would be belting. Part of me hopes they chuck the book at us, fuck us ff so we can start again with a proper owner

You know things are bad when the tinpot thread isn't enough to contain everything wrong at a club. Still think Glenn Tamplin deserves his very own discussion.

Was an ex Pools manager involved in that

Today installment.

We have banned the clubs historian from the ground and made him leave his voluntary position after he allegedly received threats from a senior official (Carson) about a tweet he sent regards the new kit shambles.

You could not make this up..the guys been doing this work for the club off his own back for donkeys years and we’ve told him he’s no longer welcome. It’s the clubs historian ffs

If that is honestly Ashley Carson who's set that account up and wrote those tweets then I'm afraid there is no coming back from that. The club should investigate that properly and get to the bottom of it!

Things will only start to improve once Ashley Carson is either gone (Highly Unlikely) or is given a role within the club with minimum influence, the man is toxic.

This was brilliant. Few of us who spotted it are now blocked from following the account.

The man has some serious issues, this is borderline personality disorder / mental health

All the best Chesterfield,
Allen gets results and will have you fighting at the right end. He also knows how to butter up the fans so they feel appreciated .

His first signing will be Sam Muggleton.

The best thing Chesterfield could of done is appoint somebody who knows the league so that’s a genuine great start.

My genuine fears that we'll triple dip relegation and drop into the conf north are settled a tiny bit with that, but not a lot.

Do you mean Carl?

Ex player and well thought of bloke, so decent start.

Dave Allen is expected to make his first appearance at the ground in over 2 years also. Nobody really knows why or what to expect. Hopefully announcing Ashley Carson has been binned off and ST's are coming down. He needs to start to build bridges with fans, and removing Carson in my eyes is the only way he can do this.

That'll not happen with Allen in charge.

It's a far better managerial appointment than the vast majority of the recently relegated sides.

He'll get Ugwu scoring goals as well (he's scored a few down in the NL before anyway). He's an Allen sort of striker.

Quite a bizzare afternoon.

ST's on sale tomorrow, everyone thought with DA returning to the fold for the first time in 2 years there woud be bridges built, he's be sacking Carson and generally trying to get the fans back on side..

Instead Carson stays and Allen blames the fans and has another swipe. Quite incredible. I am now with the growing hoardes who will not give him another penny more.

Away games only for me, as it was in the 16/17 season before I stupidly returned in Nov when Lester got the job.
