Stoke loan Jese from PSG, Newcastle sign Joselu from Stoke. Stoke have got the most CL winners in their squad in the Premier League.

Another one of Stoke's signings that sounds fantastic on paper but will probably go the same way as the others. There's a reason he's dropped to Stoke.

Basically, Dirk, St. Juste sums up the stereotype of the anti-English Scot with an inferiority complex. He over compensates as a result.

We send Max Gradel away to Toulouse on loan for the season because he's pissed off at not getting in our side - and the very first thing he does is score against PSG. Meanwhile we create only precious little scraps in two games. :ffs:

(Ok Toulouse ended up getting beat 6-2 by PSG, but still he's the only 'Bournemouth' player to score a competitive goal at the moment!)

Must be the reason. Just wanted to know it.

One can only hope that Joe gets his first clean sheet asap otherwise we'll have Groundhog day here again and again... #prayingforjoe :D

Imagine having an inferiority complex to Joe Hart.

Basically, criticism of English players (or even dispassionately pointing out how many goals they concede) is not allowed on this forum.

I'll stick to Hart conceded x goals at the weekend. That will prevent any accusations of bias, I think.

Have you been banned?? Or do you just expect people to stop disagreeing with you?

England/English players get mocked all the time on here. Have you not seen some of the stick players like Rooney and Sterling have received on here?

It's when it becomes a strange obsession like it has with yourself that it gets commented on.

How is it a strange obsession? What else would I post about on an English football forum other than players than play in English football?

The strange obsession is with England and English players, not with players that play in English football.

I disagree completely, I've been comparing Hart with his predecessor Adrian in this thread.

English players receive overwhelmingly more press attention than an equivalent foreign player, and they are more discussed on this forum as a result. Had Hart not been English, or homegrown, he would never have had any semblance of a career at Man City - he's never been that level of player.

But again, this is an English football forum and I've been criticised for posting about players in English football. Which is bizarre.

Can you give me a list of topics I am allowed to post about? Dispassionately noting how many goals a team or player concedes seems far too controversial.

Anything other than England, English managers or English players. You'll have moved on to a different forum within the week.

Mignolet is comfortably the most talked about keeper on this forum, haven't seen Hugh wade in with his thoughts on him.
But thats fair enough, you don't have to get involved with every debate.
It does surprise me a little though that Hugh hasn't mentioned Pickford yet or as Hugh dubs him " the next Joe Hart", presumably because he's conceded just 1 goal in 4 games.

I thought you might, addiction and obsession are hard masters.

Yep, these circa 5 posts I make on a football forum, about football, characteristics dangerous and obsessive behaviour.

First of all, credit for posting about football.

My thoughts regarding Mignolet is that he is a pretty average Premier League goalkeeper, Liverpool may have aspirations to do better but aren't as big a draw as they think. If they could afford someone better, they would. Mignolet is quite young and they will probably stick with him, like Spurs did with Paul Robinson, or Man City did with Joe Hart. Eventually it will become obvious he isn't getting better with age and they will get rid.

Well, you've mentioned him now. He's done okay in his first few games.

Lossi probably had the best start of any goalkeeper though.
