Well done Ethan. Has had a great start to his time here. Looks a cut above. Slightly annoying that he won this though, as it might result in Sunderland being less willing to extend his loan.

So Hanson won the EFL one in August, and now this chap wins the PFA one for September.

Hmm, wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if Grimsby finish as high as 12th this year.

I'm confident we will finish in the top half.

These players don't sound like lower league footballers any more. Next thing you know there'll be footballers with the first names Noah or Leo. You can't play in League Two with a name like Ethan. You need a name like Stuart or Dave.

I think there are two different awards now so that the rest of the division doesn't go crying into their Mornflakes when Grimsby players win it every month.
2 awards handed out by people who have probably seen a couple of minutes highlights and looked at a couple of stats online, baffling why they bother.

Forest Green odds on favourites to field League Two's first ever strike partnership of two Tarquins.

Speaking of which, unless there's something I'm missing, why are Club's now using their Teams of the Weeks as some sort of official accolade/recognition now?
Seems to me as if both D3D4 and NTT20 just like to pander to the clubs with the most fans as it means the most likes on their tweets. You only have to watch the chap from NTT20 on the EFL highlights for 30 seconds to know all their 'knowledge' is based on someone elses stats or soundbites they've read elsewhere rather than personal expertise.

It's nigh on impossible for these people to have a broad knowledge about all things EFL because there's just too much to know. It's not doable.

As for the 'statisticians' on Twitter and their xG bollocks.....
