His stupid and needless challenge which led to the goal was nothing short of shocking, he also loses countless headers and when he does he cannot direct them. I'm not surprised. There's a reason we've binned him off. Partially because we may need him to step in on the odd occasion over the Xmas period. But largely because he's poor. Still's worst signing of the summer. We got him in because our weakness last season was conceding aerially. But the guy is poor at nearly everything he does.

Enjoyed the day out in Torquay despite not picking up 3 points.
Thought Torquay looked a good side, and they'll be disappointed not to have won as they had the better chances. No chance they'll go down on that performance.
As for us, we looked like a side that played on Tuesday night with 10 men. Need to get back to winning ways on Saturday.

Pretty much everyone we've played recently has said "there is no way Torquay will get relegated", so we're almost definitely going to be now. But we are, in my opinion, a very good side now.

It's funny that because he was a solid stopper defender for us in our title winning season in 14/15 where he was almost ever-present. Even in League 2 in 15/16 he did a decent enough job for us. It seems that going to Eastleigh put a curse on his career.

Maybe the standard of player has got better. You see Zavon Hines at Maidstone now for example when a few years ago he was ripping up League 2. Or just maybe, he's not put as much work in as he should and there are simply better defenders now.

The biggest regret I have is Staunton leaving for Woking. He's better than N'Gala and possibly Lokko for me. The problem was that Doe and Robson are better than him so he wanted to leave to pursue 1st team football. Can't deny him that ambition really. He'd have been a much better option than Bondz though.

despite the score hines was superb at our place pacey and dangerous. was funny when he was taking a corner and the crowd were giving him abuse , he blasted the corner into the side netting, smiled and shrugged his shoulders at the home crowd. great reaction from a man who you could clearly tell was not happy with his delivery that minute

N'gala - the most expensive mistake in our clubs history.
£80k to buy him, only for us to then appoint Martin Allen, who wanted him out of the club immediately. So after just a handful of games, he was paid off within 6 weeks of arriving. Absolutely dumbass business by us!! and the biggest pitfall of having an owner worth a reported £700m.
Everything we do is being done on a whim, without any thought or planning put to it.

With our luck , if we do reach the play-offs, we will end up playing Macclesfield or Aldershot away. The inevitable dog turd performance will follow. Our defence has been immense this season but has been well protected by wedgebury and wright. When I saw our cm today it was obviously going to be a struggle. F a trophy next week then dover home. Not over fussed about the trophy. .a cup run would be nice but far more important to bounce back against Dover.
