They're waiting for Big Sam to come back from his vacation/retirement so they can hire him to rescue them from relegation.
Please don't kid around like that, it's not funny.

It's a weird one, they've signed good individuals but we all know that doesn't make a team. If you scrutinise closer, they've signed 3 number 10s, a CB and a GK. Oh and Sandro, but it's already clear that he should be a squad option as opposed to the man to replace Lukaku.

So really, they've still got an ageing backline. They've got a CM pairing who are too similar and limited (Gueye and Schneiderlin). Davies should be in that pairing all day long. And then they don't have a clue what to do with the front 4. They've tried shoehorning them all in which hasn't worked.

You can see that they're really missing Coleman and Bolasie, especially the former. Both are pacey though and would add a bit of dynamism to the team. I'm shocked they haven't given Lookman more of a go since Calvert-Lewin has done well. Especially since he did alright last season, as did all the young players they put their faith in when the old guard weren't performing.

International break has come at a good time. Koeman needs to take a bit of a gamble and go for something like this.

--------------------Pickford
Martina---Keane---Jagielka----Baines

-------------Davies---Schneiderlin---------

Lookman---------Siggurdson----Calvert-Lewin

--------------------Rooney---------------------------

Thats an awful team, far and away our best player is not in your lineup. Gueye

Put Gueye in for Schneiderlin then. It’s not a great team I agree but do you want Klassan out wide, Sandro hovering and doing little, Williams at CB? It at least has s bit of legs and life to it in the wide areas

Its a shambles tbh, no width atm no ideas. The best possible line up imo is a team that would struggle against 50% of the clubs. We took Lukaku for granted.

Everton sold Lukaku for about £75 million, which is a decent amount to find an adequate replacement. Apparently, they failed to do so. Sigurdsson is clearly not good enough, while Klaassen seems to struggle to adapt to the Premier League.
Maybe Koeman & co. face more problems?

Some of you may be taking the mick with these suggestions. :bg:.
Moyes, Redknapp, Allardyce, Gerrard, Jewell, Sherwood, Pardew, De Boer are all cack!! Tuchel perhaps.

He'll be gone tomorrow. I think we may regret his replacement.

It's Big Sam or Pulis for Everton. Anything more glam is just pie in the sky.
