I don't understand why they've struggled so much to get a good replacement in. No way would they have wanted Allardyce the day they sacked Koeman.
Everton are a big club, have been top half since the early 2000s I think, now have big money unlike previous seasons, and big potential with the new stadium plans. Sure they have short term problems but this selection process has shocked me.

You guys are so down on Allardyce. He's much better than Koeman. These guys like Laudrup & Koeman they aren't proper managers. They're okay for a season or so but once the novelty wears off they come undone.

He's probably wumming to an extent but if not big Sam will prove pagz very wrong.

I can see an 18 month job for Allardyce here. Everton will need cast iron 100% guarantee of staying in the money league whilst they build their new stadium, and at the moment they certainly don't have that. For at least a couple of years Allardyce will steady the ship and get them top half again. He was on about retirement recently, so I'm sure he won't see it as a long term position (although a couple of years is seemingly long term these days).

Then after 18/19 when they're straightened out, more solid and with a more balanced squad, he can pass the job onto someone a bit more flamboyant or progressive if that's want they want, and go back to his villa in Spain with a tidy chunk of change for his troubles, with all the England business well behind him.

Sam brings in Ryland Morgans - just to spray more bullets through the dinosaur myth.

Big Sam has probably be told just to bring some stability to Everton and probably ensure mid-table "mediocrity" but think the Everton fans will still expect more than that even now.

Haven't won at Anfield for 18 years. Anyone expecting that to change?

No. But Sam will set Everton up for a Jose and defend in numbers whilst hoping for an occasional attack on the break. So I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Everton manage to nullify our attack and bag a point. Will take some doing though, especially if Klopp plays a full strength attack. We've scored 19 goals in our last 6 league games.

Done nothing wrong in any of his games so far mate. Before he came in, Matip looked our best defender, but when VVD came into the derby, we saw how poor Matip is in comparison. Said it before anyway, we might not see the best of him this season anyway, but so far I've been delighted by him and look forward to seeing him when he's fully up to speed.

Southampton have won all of their games in February, while Liverpool have won none of theirs.

Shows who got the better of the deal imho.

at fault for a goal against swansea and a penalty vs spurs. 2 out of 4 games that. glad you're happy though mate.

Nope not at fault for the Swansea goal, the ball bounced about a million times and should've been covered by someone elsewhere, and it just happened to land perfectly for a Swansea player. Also as Pags and I have already stated, he did not foul Lamela the other day, so he hasn't erred at all yet.

At least in America we only encourage standing around while you get smashed by a country with under 2 million people instead of active self-destruction.

Flash in the pan mate, just like fellow Egyptian Amr Zaki who led the goalscoring charts for Wigan at the turn of the year.

What happened to him Bilo?
Back to fucking Egypt that's what.

Well since you can all see for yourself how brilliant he's been despite not having a preseason and missing half the season, I don't need to defend him in the slightest.

We need your definition of brilliant Salts.
Look, I want the bell to be brilliant cos I popped his arse in my dreamteam, but so far I've not seen anything brilliant at all from him. What brilliance has he shown? He should be a threat from set pieces but hasn't been, he should be helping your defence concede less, he aint. He's made mistakes that led to goals. Early days yeah but if you think hes been brilliant you aint watching him. The second he scores he'll be the best in the world.

He actually played 12/21 of our Premier League matches before his move to you this season. 90 minutes in 11 of those games.

The only reason his fitness and ability is now getting questioned is due to him turning up half heartedly in all of those matches and I suspect he applied himself the same way in training, much unlike Coutinho, who was in a similar situation.

So, no he hasn’t missed half the season and I hope he never discovers his past form and turns into a Lovren, who also looked very good while at us. :bg:
