Is there a Lincoln fan who doesn’t support a Prem club? Seen Lincoln/Newcastle and Lincoln/Tottenham on this page alone. Absolutely embarrassing.

I feel bad for the actual Lincoln fans

You can't argue against the success Cowley has had with Lincoln, but yeah it is quite one dimensional and eventually it will catch 'em out in my opinion if they move on.

Never seen the video above of Rhead full of assaulting somebody on the pitch! Jesus christ did he get banned for that? Regarding Ollie Palmer, he should be nothing but thankful for the club that introduced him to professional football, but instead he's complete twat. Surely his league days are numbered too.

Funny reading the Lincoln forum

“I’m not disappointed at all”

Well yes that would be because you’ll just go back to supporting your Prem club whilst the 3,000 real Lincoln fans will be very dissapointed

Their one dimension got them a Wembley win and a tilt at the play offs. Not my cup of tea for watching, but fair fucks to them I say.
They got us to the play-offs in our first season back with Matt Rhead and Ollie Palmer as two of our main three strikers. It's a great achievement. And let's not forget a lot of people on here were predicting us to "be the next Cheltenham" at the start of the season. I know it's difficult for you, but give them the credit they deserve.

We were caught out last night because Exeter are a better team, as Cowley admitted last night. There's no shame in that.

It's not a dig, it's a genuine question to the supporters of a club I've only seen play 4 times this season, 3 of which you were pretty poor. The Cowleys are obviously making a huge name for themselves and rightly so, I'm just intrigued as to wether the one dimension may catch up on them or if they've got more in their locker.

I'd say the league table and their previous record speaks for itself.

Yeah I know.

Even their hooligan element is a joke...

Hahahaha what a mess. Lincoln are everything wrong with modern football and I can’t wait for them to fall back into non league. Shame a proper club like Tranmere were playing a league below

List of fans we've wound up by being good over the last 2 years:

Grimsby
Carlisle
Luton
Mansfield
Coventry
Woking (?)
Tranmere

Anyone else want to embarrass themselves?

You haven’t wound anybody up hahaha! We are all laughing at you

Whats with the Lincoln fans hatred?

2nd highest attendance in the division, behind oh so massive Coventry who can only fill 29% of their stadium compared to Lincoln's 87% and a difference of 700 fans . Nearly double that of Carlisle who through most of winter play in a pond, yet Lincoln are called a joke?

As I've said before, last night we just seemed to have run out of steam with injuries catching up with us and the players on the pitch being knackered, but then we've played 60 games this year with a squad of around 20 so it's to be expected.

I think despite the fact Exeter clearly had some better players than us, had we been able to play our best XI with Habergahm at LB, Eardley at RB, Wharton and Waterfall in the centre, Bostwick in midfield with Freck and Woodyard then we wouldn't have conceded those goals. We just didn't play how we usually do for big games; high-tempo, pressing and hassling, the way that got us past better teams in the FA Cup last year.

I'm sure the players and managers have learnt a lot this year, we'll make some signings over the summer and come back stronger and hopefully with a little bit more flair and creativity to match our energy and endeavour.

Perhaps you're right so hate the team, but what have the fans done wrong?

All the fans on here seem to be top notch

Impish who posts on here isn't top notch, he's a little cocky bellend!

But in all seriousness their fans should be more critical of their style of play instead of turning a blind eye on it and acting like every neutral loves them.

You’re talking to the two worst posters on this forum, don’t expect any good answers.

Remind me when you were last in the Hall of Fame?

Two years running and don’t you forget that.

Bristol Rovers have never played in the top tier. I’m laughing right now. This is a city what represents over 400,000 people.

I'm not upset, I'm laughing.

Hold on a sec.Comparatively good it’s L2 after all.

I’m not sure what Newcastle has to do with Lincoln , so I think I need to exit stage left on this thread.

Folks don’t forget Exeter won , seems to have been missed in all the minor bickering
