So, I guess we are the happier of the two teams after Saturday’s stalemate. We rode our luck at times in the 2nd half but otherwise I thought we did a great job at keeping Lincoln out and also created some very good chances.

I think it will be nervy and close and I wouldn’t be surprised if this one goes the distance but I do hate the idea of penalties.

I hope we make a change and swap a midfielder (preferably Lloyd James) and bring in a strike partner for Stockley, with Robbie Simpson most likely to be given the nod as Matt Jay is 4ft 2 so would be mullered by Lincoln’s defence.

Going to be an anxious week building up to it and just hope we do it. I think we will...just. 1-0 to ECFC with Stockley last minute diving header. UTC!!

Both teams will still fancy their chances in this. Tisdale got it about right when he said both teams showed each other respect in the first leg and cancelled each other out. But this one should be a bit less cagey and Exeter being at home might help us a little. We've never been a side under Cowley who'll unlock defences, so if Exeter come out a bit more then it should offer us some opportunities.

Hopefully Wharton's injury in the final stages of Saturday won't keep him out of this one, otherwise we're in serious trouble and have only three fit defenders.

I think Palmer will come in for this one for Anderson and if Frecklington's available, he'll be in for Whitehouse.

By all accounts, Bostwick shouldn't have really played on Saturday so I doubt he'll be 100% fit either.

My slight concern is that Exeter seem to have that little bit of something, which'll win them the game. As I've said numerous times, we've lacked a little bit of something all season.

Id expect us to go back to two up for this one, maybe Simpson for James
Still be close but I fancy us to see this through as we always do in semis

The result on Saturday was about as good as we could have hoped for away from home.

All to play for at St James'. Would like to see Tisdale start with a 5-3-1 then switch to 4-4-2 in the second half with some fresh wide men to run at the tiring Lincoln defence.

If we start off with 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 we will need to score first, chasing the game will open us up too much at the back.

Rather you went with 10 men in the second half!

We've been given an extra 23 tickets, which go on sale tonight. I'm assuming that nudges us above 400.

I think this is going all the way to penalties.

Dead right buddy........will be donning my ( not quite so lucky at Wembley last year) 'Stacey 95' special......what a night that was against Carlisle....................and the only reason we lost against Blackpool was 'cos Troy Brown got crocked and our whole gameplan went out the window with him. I'm hoping it is as you were in terms of Harley and Boateng playing central midfield with Tilson just in front of the defenders. Stockley up top, and if it were up to me, I would play Edwards wide right as it may be his last match for us and he would want to go out on a high and stick Taylor on the leFt again. I would keep the other strikers benched and ready when needed, maybe a night for Liam to step up off the bench and stick a winner away. Whatever happens, it is going to be nervy. Wish I was there. kicks off as 4.45am in Sydney UTC

Had confidence in last seasons playoff matches but these ties are just too close to call.

These games are always opportunities for Tis to spring a surprise. Think we made about 4 or 5 changes from the first leg in last seasons playoffs. At home we've tended to go with 2 up front so I would expect us to bring in either Simpson or Jay to partner Stockley but as mentioned you really can't guess it.

Can't predict this one.

Off topic considering Exeter just taken lead but, and I can’t say I have ever said this before but I like Exeter’s crest/badge! Very smart not like some of these remade ones you see now.

Anyway...as you were....

Exeter look better so far, always the chance with how Lincoln play they can get a goal anytime via a rebound off a thigh though.

20 stone Matt Rhead in going to ground shock after a fingernail is placed on his back.

Rhead is such a nonce on the pitch.

I think you’ll find Rhead went down ‘professionally’......

Fat fuck.

We've been poor. Ref got the right call with our disallowed goal.

Lincoln are normally better in the second half (I think) so this tie isn’t over yet.

If Karma exists, Matt Rhead has just received it by the bucket load.

We've been dreadful every first half this season so hoping we pick up after the break.

Played a fair bit of possession football (with no end result) for 5 mins before the whistle, proof we aren't just hoofball merchants.

Jonesy has just said he went down theatrically which has probably cost him the goal.

Of course he didn’t get one of his players sent off this season.

Very impressed with Boateng in the last two games. I'd be surprised if no one higher up bids for him.

Definitely if they don’t go up. Pretty sure I read he’s out of contract this Summer too.
