Brighton will have to give Palace an even bigger allocation than normal as well being a Cup game (15% as opposed to 10% IIRC).

And Brighton/Palace given an evening kick-off...might be interesting then to see what happens off the pitch!

They just aren't the draw they used to be, all about City now.

In other news, the last place in R3 will be decided when we travel to the frozen wastes of Cumbria tonight.

Replicate Saturdays performance and we might actually win!

Likely to be our reserves starting in the first game of the run to a domestic cup double.

Can't remember a 3rd round set that feature zero non-league side. Bit shit that.

Not sure how we will line up on Saturday, if it was up to me then i'd try and give as many of the first eleven from Saturday a game off.

Hoping Moult is fit to make his debut and we have another winger signed up, this Kean Bryan from Man City too.

We'll make 11 changes. We might even see the lesser spotted Australian Brad Smith, last seen 12 months ago away at Millwall in the same competition. Notable characteristics include making every effort to stay far away from the football, and looking terrified at the prospect being tackled.

For the first time ever in out history Fleetwood have drawn a Premier League club and Saturday sees Jamie Vardy return to his old club. On BBC live at midday, means a terrific windfall for the club and great exposure. We've lost 3 on the bounce at home so we have'nt really got a prayer except it is the F A Cup.........

Wonder what the average number of team changes will be given the complaints about the fixture schedule?

7-8?

No Salah or Coutinho tomorrow night. Shit news for us, great news for Everton. Could easily be the difference on the night, I'd have been certain it would have been a comfortable win for us with them, now it's far less certain. We're far better on paper but it's the cup, anything can happen.

Still have us down for the win, but it will be tight. Hopefully VVD to make his debut.

2-1

West Brom has got to be an interesting one for team selection. On paper they'd probably want to rest players (as all prem managers do) but being without a win for so long, surely a win.............any type of win is their most important goal currently.

it is a strange one this year because that usual clump of 7-8 midtable prem non-entities that never do anything each and every season who every year wind me up because they could easily try for the FA cup but never even bother are all this year for once battling for survival so i am unsure which 3-4 clubs this competition is genuinely for this season.

Well the top 5/6 will get through in all likelihood despite fielding weaken sides then take it seriously as Man City will win the league and they all cannot with the Champions league so might see the FA Cup as chance to win something in an average season - as Arsenal have shown in the previous few seasons!

Like you say the rest will probably try their best to get knocked out - certainly can see the likes of Stoke/Swansea losing and Bournemouth at home to Wigan if they aren't fussed.

Well that was soft but risky thing to do penalty like the Everton one earlier in the season - guess Big Sam won't be so quick to praise the ref for that decision!

Everton losing their cool a bit - will someone get sent off?

United looking as uninspiring as ever. Mkhitaryan is as frustrating as he's ever been at Dortmund. Misplaced passes everywhere. Derby could have tested Romero but failed. Still an open game though. Mou wouldn't want a replay I don't think.

Very soft pen put us 1-0 up but what goes around comes around. Rather boring match as you can imagine but VVD has been very good. Everton are obviously playing to his strengths but nonetheless.
