We've blown a 2-0 HT lead and are now losing 3-2 at Chorley. Our defence is having a nightmare by the sounds of things, doesn't really surprise me with Evatt's insistence on playing a left back at centre half.

I don't think we deserved to be 2-0 up in the first place, but it doesn't make it an ounce less annoying.

Fantastic display by Pools to see off the threat of Evo Stik Western league giants Kidsgrove 1-0.

I'd fucking love Sunderland away in the first round.

But we'll probably get Stevenage

Absolute bullshit we've changed everything around for this. Fucking joke.

Never mind, there's always the trophy

Muir and James were shockingly bad, but the midfield three took the fucking biscuit in the shit stakes, like three old women playing.

Gotta start Hawkes and Dinanga on Saturday, Dinanga had more shots on target in 3 minutes than James did all game.

The only positive is that we’re through to the first round and pocketed £25k, let’s have the Mackems at our place instead in round one.

Am I missing something? Sutton charge 15 quid. Wrexham charge 20 quid. Wrexhams ground is three times bigger (technically 4 times bigger but not taking account of the closed stand) and all seater. At Sutton you basically stand in a bus shelter. Who is fleecing who?

Sutton play in the National League and charge £15. Wrexham play in the National League and charge £20. I go to Football to watch Football, facilities are incidental

Nah, we want the Mackems. It’ll keep up our record of drawing Northern League 1 sides in the 1st round of the FA Cup.

Looking at who we've got in the last 4 years:
14/15 - Stevenage, Wrexham
15/16 - Yeovil
16/17 - Rochdale
17/18 - Cheltenham, MK

Can we please get someone like Sunderland or Portsmouth? Wrexham are still the biggest team we've had a chance to face

On the 90th minute at 1-1 Wealdstone get their 2nd penalty and Nick Bailey is red carded. Jamie Butler saves the penalty and with almost the last kick Aaron Drinan scores his first SUFC goal and we win 2-1. God bless the FA Cup

That'd be such a boring draw. You'd take 200 there, last time we were there we took 10,000

So let's have 'em at ours instead. It'd be the TIE OF THE ROUND

Our second half performance was the worst I've seen us play for some years. I don't know what happened today, because we abandoned any attempt to play football and instead tried diagonal balls to Chorley's three giant centre-backs or ran into a brick wall every time we tried to take them on.

I didn't think Chorley were great, but they never needed to be - what they did do well though was shut everything down before it got going.

A massive lack of options meant that from seven subs we had no strikers at all, and when we needed an attacking change, there wasn't anyone to draw upon.

Chorley will be delighted because they destroyed us second-half, mainly through defensive errors. So angry about such an abject performance from every single player.

Solid performance in a potentially banana-skin tie. Happy to get through and into the hat on Monday.
Someone local please, or Sunderland.

Be grateful you’ve never played away at Concord Rangers.

We have!
Can’t see their ground ever being good enough for promotion
And all those bugs- ugh
Hard fought victory, goal from an Effiong free kick, nice to see a bit of football from us.

Yeah but most teams in League 1 are 'Northern' for your mob!

Leave the Mackems to us, we've unfinished business

So who would you not want in the draw?

I'd rather not have any L2 side away as they're mostly similar size to us and we've played every single one of them fuck knows how many times. And we'd probably lose.

Or L1 away as we'd most definitely lose.

How are they incidental? they still need paying for. And my point is that Wrexham ground is more expensive to run and maintain than Suttons.

Using your logic why aren't everyone charging 12 pounds like Eastleigh? They play in the National League too. (They probably don't charge this now, but they wwere the cheapest last season)

Ugh, another shite day at Edgeley Park.

County weren't anything special, 2 soft goals. Their keeper looked very competent, whereas ours is a shambles. We'll never score at Edgeley Park.

Classic Wealdstone that. Penalty in the 90th minute to win it and Sutton down to 10 men. Keeper saves it and then they go and bag the winner at the other end.

Cruel but there’s a clear gap in quality between Conference and Conny Sarf sides.
